  1. I can safely say i am so sick of hearing about this guy. I hope we don't draft him, and i hope he sucks. 60 page thread about a rookie we didn't even draft?! SMH
  2. I guess it all depends who we draft. I could totally see us going QB, I could also see us going value and just trying to bring in McD guys. If we draft a guy in the 3rd round or something, i still would say he's likely safe to start all year. If they don't go QB it gives Tyrod the keys for a year, but it wouldn't prohibit us from looking QB in 2018 either.
  3. I think Tyrod is one of those quiet lead by example guys. He's first man in every morning for workouts, year round and takes his job seriously. That's what you look for in a captain.
  4. They're players, they report to the Head coach. I think the idea is that we have real captains who you look to for questions in film study, on the field, or even for off field things if needed. I'd say it probably would be Kyle, Zo, Tyrod, i guess Hyde seems to want to be a leader. Our ST guys all seem relatively new outside of Zo, so he seems like the natural fit for that side of the ball.
  5. Carpenter's kicking issues, and the same with schmidt's terrible punting.
  6. I don't get why people are discounting Peterson as a good player... he's one of the greatest running backs of all time. He would do well there. They clearly wanna stretch Brady's last few years, this helps do that. Upgrade over Blount.
  7. McCaffery just won't break through arm tackles in the NFL. But he has good vision, good hands, experience in a pro style offense. I think he'll have a role wherever he ends up. I could see Pittsburgh grabbing him as they don't seem to want to pay Bell and he could have some success there.
  8. I guess...? It'd be hard for me to be a bills fan if they screwed with my ability to pay my mortgage and bills, and on his birthday to boot? I'd hate any company for that.
  9. yeah - they fired him on his birthday... lifetime bills fan. Now he's a pats fan. Can't say i blame him.
  10. A friend of mine who worked for the bills like 5 years ago said he was getting texts this morning, and that like everyone there is on edge. It seems like the first of many steps in removing a ton of dead weight within the front office.
  11. Well... Petty is terrible, hackenberg barely dressed for game days his rookie year, and McCowns been terrible for 3 years now. Not sure how you can say it isn't a need.
  12. Yeah - the lack of explanations for why these teams want to move up makes it a bit far-fetched. Like Seattle has to really want someone at 10 to move up that high. OJ howard maybe? Or allen if he slips? cook or fournette? just not sure why they think 10 is where seattle is going to need to be.
  13. Saw that too - some people are super high on Mahomes, others like trubinsky, others like watson, and others even like kizer. Weird draft
  14. Hey - i'd be down. If they take a QB at 10 i completely understand them doing it, but I'm not going to be pissed if they don't. These guys all seem to have flaws in some way shape or form. Be it arm strength, footwork, accuracy, etc.
  15. You like him over trubinsky, watson, kizer,.. I jsut don't get the Mahomes love I guess. Do you consider him head and shoulders above the rest of the class?
  16. Why did the 9 teams ahead of us pass on him if he's so can't miss?
  17. There was, but Ref's calling the game well is out of your team's control. I think Mills even HOLDING avril there is a better outcome.
  18. I put that on mills. He gave up a horrible sack on 3rd and goal from the 7 to push it to 4th and goal from the 15. TT was hit pretty much at the point of his drop.
  19. They didn't want to bring back TT at the original contract, so they searched out alternate options. Tyrod said he wouldn't take a pay-cut, then he did. So essentially it seems they called his bluff.
  20. All true I guess - but the haters want us to draft someone and just assume he'll be better. They wanted to cut TT, and sign a Hoyer or Cutler, and groom our new guy. Some refuse to even admit that taking him back on the paycut is probably whats best for business to be competitive for 2017. Or they want us to tank for the 2018 draft... even though the browns and niners seem to pretty much have the top 2 locked up. Or worse than both, they are all criticism and no solutions. Which is a lot like the buffalo media, who's opinion is that everyone stinks, but refuse to suggest a better option.
  21. sure - but most offensive coordinators don't take 30 seconds to get a play call in which allows the o-line to set protection, as well as get a pre-snap coverage read.
  22. All i did was say that the Baltimore game was a complete offensive let-down. He didn't prop them up. But the line didn't help, McCoy had a bad game rushing (and in pass protection)... It is a team game after all.
  23. Great QBs will have bad games when the guys up front do a poor job. Mediocre qbs will have really bad games when the guys up front do a poor job. They also only had 60 yards rushing... It wasn't all on him.
