He's 31 with a history of knee problems, and now needs surgery on his ankle. He's made 50 million... probably set for life there - and he's a stanford educated guy with a business degree. Probably smart to get out of there while he can still walk right, and before getting any serious damage done to the rest of his body.

Uniform releases to happen after 1 July

Yeah, i remember seeing a guy wearing a suit with zubaz lapels (not an entire zubaz suit), and i thought it looked neat. -
A lot of the dome teams built them for the purposes of securing super bowls (which bring in a ton of money). Buffalo will never get one, so the dome aspect isn't there. You might be able to use it for concerts or something, but they play football in the winter so... you can have concerts in the spring/summer in an open air stadium probably just as much. Yep - everythings a negotiation tactic. Same goes for them saying " we could play at penn state or somewhere else" when the lease is up. They're just saying that to get favorable terms. Could you imagine playing on that? I rolled up on my toe just thinking about it.

Could he...? In his time with the team as GM they drafted 0 pro-bowlers. When he was AGM, they drafted 3 - Spiller, Dareus, and Gilmore. Spiller was pretty likely a Nix pick. Why praise someone for dareus when the options otherwise were peterson, julio jones, and AJ green - it was a consensus top 5 player. Congrats for not getting gabbert i guess? And for all his complaining about not being able to get a QB (Purgatory comment) - in 2016 he traded picks that cost them a shot at prescott. In 2012 every single pick ahead of miami at 8 was traded, so either they didn't want tannehill or felt good about fitz. And they used a pick on TJ Graham instead of Wilson. Then walked into 2013 with no QB. It's alllll nix, nothing to do with ol' dougie. I kind of hate doug whaley, he is the type of guy to tell you only about his good achievements (and take credit for other peoples work) and completely avoid all the stupid terrible trades and picks he made.

Hard Knox: Dawson Knox Watch

Improving the hand eye coordination and increased repetition makes the automatic parts of the catch more effective. I assume the zone blocking part is still a work in progress. Thats a tough thing to learn in all honesty. -
The USFL is back in 2022

I was enjoying the XFL honestly. It was far more entertaining than that AAF league. Rule changes were mostly kinda neat. At the end of the day though 2 leagues is going to end up being 0 leagues unless one does compensation more effectively. -
They decided to move on from darby (injury prone, poor scheme fit), Dareus (overpaid, malcontent), Watkins, (injury prone damaged goods player), Ragland (scheme fit)... And added matthews, gaines, and benjamin in other moves. Gaines when healthy was pretty solid for buffalo, matthews was hurt a lot instilling a greater need for benjamin, and benjamin also got hurt. i don't think any of the players they brought in were better than who was shipped out, but he did acquire a lot of picks to shape the roster. They also took a big dead cap hit for all of this, but were able to do a rebuild in a 2 year window by making all the moves up front instead of trying to make a run with Whaleys roster.

For me - it was how much the team responded to the Peterman incident. Coach tried to spark the offense after an absolutely terrible performance the week before (Tyrod's line - 9/18 56 yards, 1 INT, 2 sacks for 6 yards loss - so 20 pass plays that resulted in 50 yards plus his scrambles). Got the team ready to play in KC, with Tyrod re-instated at QB, and won. Team was 5-5 and looking like a team that could finish like 6-10 and got them to win 4 of the last 6 games.

Between peterman and anderson there were 4 games that you could just chalk up as losses no matter who the opponent was. So they went 6-6 in Allen starts - One loss was the clay drop, the houston game was tight and peterman really blew it at the end, Jets game the defense failed after taking the lead. So 3 games that probably could have gone eithr way that went against buffalo.

Pete Prisco's (CBS Sports) top 100 for 2021
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well I know they tried with a bad offensive line to make some effort to run the ball more. Part of it was also that Wilson was just money on deep balls to start the year, and it tends to get windier as the year goes on. Their defense also played considerably better as the year went on, so they didn't need to put up 40 every game to stay in it. -

Clean bill of health for TE Tommy Sweeney
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He looked alright in the 2019 preseason but i didn't see the hands in the regular season. He also missed an entire year (to no fault of his own), that definitely will put him behind on a development curve. I know nothing about becker, other than that he is a big blocking TE type, which seems to be the player they would want to keep as the 4th man on the 53.
