  1. I'm a big Devin Singletary fan but I'm going to say he comes in at around 850. There will be a time when he gets beat up and Moss is going to out touch him then. There will also be games we don't run. Plain and simple. What I say is Devin is going to regain his 5.1 yds./carry. I think he gets a 10.0 yds./catch as well which is pretty damn good for a back. He's going to make first tacklers miss and get extra yardage. He'll make it look so easy fans won't appreciate what he is doing. I say he is another great weapon for Josh to use. What he'll do more than anything though is block and he will block very well too. He's a good player. Go Bills!
  2. And! and, Stefon sez he wants to catch more deep balls and I for one wouldn't want to bet against him. I say he gets more long TDs this year. What's he need? One? IDK? Can't recall him getting too many bombs.... Josh Allen has to learn to put a lot more air under those long passes as well.
  3. While not burners, both Diggs and Davis are fast enough to get open deep. So can Sanders, McKenzie and Stevenson. Sure, I'd like a real flyer on the Bills ala Tyreek Hill But the Bills receiver's are fast enough to form one of the very tip-top best offenses in the league, quite possibly; the best. I'd say the best is who puts up the most points this year. I like Buffalo a lot in this regard. We're certainly going to finish in the top three unless injuries really derail us. I think fans tend to overate deep speed. It is why Devin Singletary is not a popular Bill. But Devin is going to start this year and he is going to do very well. Go Bills!
  4. Sanders is a slight improvement over Brown when Brown is at his peak and 100% healthy. So, Sanders is a significant weapon..... Our four-wide O might be the most potent in the whole NFL, we'll see.... (we'll also what it looks like from time to time with McKenzie and/or Kumerow in there as well. Daboll will run plays for both of those receivers to limit the wear and tear on the top four whether the top four gets beat up or not. You gotta use everyone on a SB run. Using Breida, Moss, Gilliam and Knox as well. Even little Timmy Sweeney......
  5. For shame, Doc. You open yourself to revenge of the Timmy Sweeney and I wouldn't wish that on anybody for the world... When we drafted him I read this long review provided by Steeler country that rated him a third round pick and said he'd be a #2 TE in this league for ten years. We'll have to watch him closely when he gets his chance to get in there. Can he block well? Can he run routes well, get open and catch it? I don't think he is a deep threat at all.... So, I look to him to block well. We'll see....
  6. Bruce Smith goes thru four staairmasters a year! Its true. I saw it.
  7. "I like that play." - Joe Willy Namath
  8. The point being, how can the Bills develop an outside corner for depth for the 2021-22 season? Cam Lewis is not the answer brothers. Maybe Nick McCloud was But he is gone now..... SOS! Help! Go Bills! Is Tre White as important to the Bills as Josh Allen is? Dont let ANY of our top three corners off the estate! Bubble wrapped except for games.
  9. BIG LEE SMITH NEWS!!! It looks like he made the Falcons roster so I'm hoping that that solidifies our 7th rd. Pick from them. I figure it is either that, or he has to suit up for a game and play a play..... I want two sixes and two sevens for the 2022 draft.... It is a lot better than not having those late round picks. And, if we make the picks, that's a lot of guys to read about! Oh boy! Go Bills! Nickel Robey was just waived! Alert the president!
  10. You mean Emmanuel..... I'd say Emmanuel has more receptions, Davis more TDs. So Davis is more valuable. Both are going to have a couple big games it is predicting which game..... Davis looks like a vet pro bowler in preseason..... Oh my! When we signed Emmanuel I thought for sure he was going to be our clear #2, but my, Does Gabriel look good.
  11. What's Goin' On? I thought we would have heard about our transactions by now..... Does this mean Beane is up to some activity? Maybe getting a new player plus cutting down? We didn't temporarily waive Taiwan yet I don't think. I think this means we only put one player on injured reserve tomorrow. McKenzie or Phillips?
  12. Rothlesburger has a rifle, it's true. Its just that Allen has a cannon.... They lack the cornerbacks to watch our WRs. Expect our top four to have a good day. They couldn't watch our three last year, Sanders is going to break their hearts. They also don't have anywhere near the OL to exact a strong run game vs. us. On paper, we should beat them worse than last year. The game was very close in the first half....till TJ's big play then.... Diggs and Allen (with help from the OL, Davis and Beasley) took the game over. Kudos to the Stealers for keeping us out of the endzone with a first down on the one..... Though our OC knew the field goal was enough and probably kept it safe. The Bills are the better team with the better QB and had the better offseason.... Bills - 31, Stealers - 17. Go Bills!
  13. I think if we want to imagine who will be our WRs in the near future with Beasley and Sanders gone, I'd look to Stevenson and Hodgins well before Kumerow. Kumerow's time is now. When our WRs get beat up (and they will) Kumerow will start to be targeted. The great thing about Jake is he can remain active as a ST demon. He is also great for setting up blocks on runs, screens, and downfield blocking assignments..... Daboll knows best.
  14. I was Bam looking pretty damn from that end position.... He's very big and athletic just not a natural at end. I think the panthers are happy to pay just a sixth (though it is understandable that the Bills really couldn't ask for more.) At worst, they got an excellent STs player.... Not bad for a sixth. He is very young as well. I think we keep Kumerow if Beane is anything like me.....that is, extremely nervous that WR depth can dry up overnight. I don't think you'd get more than a 7th so I'd rather have him. Even on the PS if that's the way it has to be.... I do think Daboll can run offense through Kumerow as long as Diggs and others are also on the field. What we don't know about however is what Hodgins and Stevenson looked like all camp. I guess Hodgins was cleared to practice recently but I'm not sure on that? Anyone know for sure either way? If the Bills think they have good potential, I think that maybe trumps Kumerow's what he can do for us now. I don't know, it depends on how much potential? What are their ceilings they think? I don't think we keep all three like Joe B thinks.... Unless we put a couple on IR right after they make the roster. That would be something if he could. You might be underestimating Beasley and overestimating McKenzie. Beasley is pretty good at sensing where not to go so he doesn't get too injured. Not sure McKenzie can do that? I like the way Beasley plays the game. Gets wildly open and avoids those hits he cannot take usually.
  15. In fact, Tribusky gets a lot of playing with the Bills building big leads this year, Tribusky comes in because he is not a disaster that we had at QB last year...... I can see Allen's yards going down too.....in exactly that fashion.
  16. I agree with everything you said and kind of said so right beneath your comment....just said it differently....
  17. IDK, if a coach is a rah-rah coach like McD, he is considered by most to not be an x's and o's guy. I don't think that is the case and I base that on the whooping McD gave belicheat last year. Belichek may have changed the league into an X's and O's league, but now it has changed. McD is definitely a cerebral coach. McD is always pushing in all three phases and deserves a lot of credit. Remember he quickly fired what's his name and hired Daboll. He also gave Daboll free reign and supplied his offense with what it needed. I don't think you give Daboll 100% credit for Allen's rise. McD deserves some love here too. And if you watched that game vs. NE last year you saw that the Bills won in all three phases solidly. You could say Belichek looked like a dope..... PS - I have been calling for a second AFC East Sweep again this season and I Billieve it. PSS - I also predict that the fish are not going to make the playoffs. Yeah, that's right. They are not as good as fans think. NE and Buffalo will sweep them, imho..... (NE will lose to Buffalo because we are an elite team, but NE is good and will beat up on Miami too.) Miami is loaded at receiver and in the secondary. Unfortunately, not anywhere else..... And I think the Bills got the better player in the draft. I think Miami's end will always battle injuries..... Groot is just a stud. Wait until next year when Groot gets used to the NFL and gets another offseason lifting weights. Go Bills!
  18. Is there such a thing as responsible betting? what? Only if you win? Myself, I'm a responsible smoker.... Dont ask me to splain it.... And I've been known to bet once in a while but I refer to me and brother betting on the Bills as the car of idiots....when we do.... As in.... the car of idiots rides again! is that responsible betting?
  19. I do not see Josh Allen's interception rate going up! Even with the extra game.... I say < 10..... Go Bills!
  20. Nah, on the four TDs. He still is a very dangerous red-zone threat and he is the key to our red-zone offense. It all comes off his threat to run and he is still going to run for TDs. Having said that, I hope Singletary's TDs Go way up. Yeah, they'll probably go to moss inside the ten, but I can see Devin getting a lot of TDs from outside the ten. Screens, draws and such. He is so elusive. A hard matchup for anyone to cover him on a short route. (Like Moss). Having said that, I'd take Moss 1st in a FF league. Because he probably is going to be the redzone RB just like last year. I would imagine a lot of fans want to see JA run less but that IS one of JA's strengths and timely runs stretch a defense considerably. So, I think not only does he still run, His runs could go up in the playoffs as well. If we can force a LB to shadow him it makes watching everyone else that much harder.
  21. I think he is going to show a lot more than that. He is going to play a lot and I do think he does show more than last year. BTW: Having Addison, having to trade Bam, is all part of the cost of drafting Groot and Bam. Beane did not want to come ALL OUT on drafting DEs, so he couldn't just cut Addison. He didn't know what would be there and he didn't want to let the rest of the NFL know that the Bills were all in at DE (and high on Groot and Boogie). They didn't want anybody thinking that and it seems they succeeded. Addison was untradeable and I guess he is part of the process. Having said all that, if we could have waived Addison and NOT have to pay him, that would have been the best path. I liked Bam this preseason and I think the panthers got themselves a decent young player with a lot of upside. Is this another Wyatt Teller? I sure hope not! I was already looking at next year with: Bam, Groot, Boogie And AJ...... Bummer.....
  22. Well, Panthers got the best of that trade, imho.... we were stuck between a rock and a hard place.... How could ask for more for Bam? At least we got something....
  23. The Bills value glue guys. Maybe Kumerow is a replaceable receiver but he is a very good blocker and special teamer and has proved he can catch it covered using his great size. On top of that, he is a glue guy. That's a pretty valuable 52 or 53....imho.... But you're right I think, we need another corner. Lewis is atop wildgoose but I don't see why.... We probably need another corner with Wallace or better type skills. I'm hoping McD can find one that failed somewhere else but is fine here (with coaching)......
  24. My Wish List: 1- Addison (and his contract) is traded away for a seventh round pick. 2 - This cap space is used up quickly for none other than Zack Ertz (for a fifth.) I think Sach is a guy we can run a lot of offense thru and he won't let us down. He is another primo weapon for us to get thru the year. 3. Bills trade a conditional seventh for a CB that fits our D. (Or could Wildgoose shock us? Either way, I'm good.) 4. Harry's knee turns out to be fine and he plays very well vs.the Stealers as a beginning to his best season in Buffalo ever by a country mile (I see this, Harry looks great. The question is his knee....If the knee is shot we need a new DT, imho... It's such a long season and we have to stop that heavy run game all year.... Stronger at TE, CB and DT we are ready to play the best the NFL has to offer.
  25. Can't wait to see our four man front featuring four defensive ends..... Jerry - Groot - Basham - AJ....... Far Out! Maybe Put in a twist and safety blitz. Get there in a hurry.... That would give us five rushers that can move side to side....that can adjust to a moving QB some.... Say, a smaller, moving QB dressed in red..... When you think about it, most DTs don't even scare Mahomes as he is too quick (but I saw a SF tackle hit him in the Super Bowl. Most can't get near him. Maybe Groot can latch onto him with those long arms, maybe Basham forces him to duck and roll?
