Gilmore to be...a patriot
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is anyone really saying that Bills have been a better managed organization than the *Pats? Really? I'm not hearing that here. -
Im not sure I get the reference to Woods walking benefiting the run game. His blocking may be one of his most valuable skill sets.

Bills are "In" on Martellus Bennet
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to Chombi P.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't imagine it with the money they have tied into Clay, but what do I know. -
I've been in the camp that if you could show me someone better than by all means move on. I just haven't seen the better options out there. Not a ringing endorsement, but that's where we are. I didn't think a restructuring would be possible given how sparse the QB market is so whatever they have done, I think it makes some sense. And thank god I can stop worrying about what the #$% they were going to do!

Its always great when we are sitting on here whining about how Boston sucks at parades because they have them all the time... F me. Either way, my office is on the parade route and it took me an extra hour to get in today because all the trains were full of yahoos. Now I'm paying $42 to park and it'll take me twice as long to get home. Whatever the turnout is, the streets are definitely not empty.

Say a prayer for Danny, my son....

I'm very sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Thank you for sharing with this community as it truly is an issue that affects all of our lives. -
I think anytime you have a wholesale coaching change you are rebuilding in one sense or another. So yeah, we rebuild a lot.

Mehta--We Loved him Ripping Marone
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely. The premise of the article is that there was no way he could win with our offense. Even if you didn't watch the games, which I'm sure Mehta didn't, the score board would show that the defense was a serious problem. -
R. I. P. Bruce DeHaven

Truly sad. Such a horrible disease. -
I think we'll know what the Pats think of their backup quarterbacks by how much playing time they get over the next two games. They have the Jets and then Miami. My guess is the Jets will be getting blown out and leaving the door open for them to bring one of them in. They could have home field locked up before the Miami game meaning they could sit Brady (and blow any chances we might possibly have left of the playoffs by letting Miami win). If Brissett sees the field then I'd think that means Jenine is hitting the market. There is really only a game and a half of tape on Garoppolo and he didn't stay healthy. I'd be wary to say he is going to step into a starting role and blow Tyrod's performances out to the water.

Sammy Watkins cleared to return to practice
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to pbanach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well we've seen him cleared before when he couldn't really go full. We need him for this whole stretch. Can't help thinking he comes out at half speed this week then can't really get it right the rest of the way. Here's to proving me wrong! -
Let's see the range of the Bills' fanbase.
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Born in BLo - live in Massachusetts. There is a great Bills Backers of Boston group that has grown steadily over the last 10+ years since I've known it. Married a Pats fan from a Pats family, but my four year old knows all the words to the shout song and gets pissed at my wife for not putting on her Bills shirt like the rest of us. This is awesome. Thanks for your service! -
We are going to so get rolled on Sunday...
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll wager that more Pats fans will sit this out than Bills fans. They ALL figure this ones in the bag. -
Lower Bowl - Security Asked Us to Sit Down
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to jimmy10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I also go with my father who has trouble standing. Its more important to me that the crowd is loud in key spots and you don't have to stand to do it. I have been guilty of standing up to try to get the crowd around me louder during 3rd downs etc. -
NFL Sunday Ticket 2016
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to KellyToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The one time they shut me out was when it was really close to the start of the season. I had also received it free for a few years before that, which might have been a factor too. It helps if you have a grievance of some kind that you bring to them. I got a sweet deal this year because Directv had a dispute with the our local NBC affiliate and it wasn't resolved until halfway through the Olympics. Telling them that they made my children miss their first summer Olympics played out great. -
Sunday Ticket on JetBlue?
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to The Avenger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I tried watching the Jacksonville game last year with Jetblue wifi - the game that was on yahoo - and the wifi was not strong enough and kept cutting out. -
Buffalo Bills in Movies and TV
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to cthodge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel like there had to be a reference in the John Candy movie "Canadian Bacon", but it has been way too long for me to remember. -

Next year, your wallet, and you.
Bills Fan in Beantown replied to Dorkington's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't live in the Buffalo area anymore and most of my family and extended family doesn't either. The one home game a year I go to is the one thing that helps bring everyone back. But more than that, I'll still get the Directv package and waist my time reading everyone's post on this blog, probably because I've invested too much at this point to let it go. Plus, we all know that the irrational optimism starts to flow again starting around March of each year... -
