I think he was being careful in his wording to say that it is an open competition. He even corrected himself twice to include a fourth in the mix with Tuel. I do say that he was rather glowing about the skill set that he thinks EJ has, but he started the conversation with bringing in "a veteran". He said he likes that EJ is a real gym-rat.

Just got off phone with Directv and the company line is "we have no advice yet" on the Bills game.

If Chandler Jones comes on at end for the Pats, they need to exploit him in the run game. If they let Jones get a blind-side sack then we are doing something seriously wrong. Jones was a beast the first couple games then got lit up by KC's run attack. After that he only saw about 15 plays against Cincy. Stop the run and make Brady take more than 2 steps to get the ball out. If Brady has to hold the ball in the pocket then we can start to punish him and the whiny face is going to come out. Changes the game. Revis looked nasty against Cincy. Is he going to be taking Watkins one on one?

Even the ridiculous media here in enemy territory is concerned about this game coming up. There hasn't been that type of feeling around Patriots country in a long, long time. The Pats haven't fixed all of their problems in a single week. Period. There is a reason they play the games. Go Bills.

The injury reports are so cryptic. I really want to see some production out of Woods' side this week just to take some hits off of Sammy's ribs. We won't really know how until Sunday.

Looked like Sammy was really playing through it (in phenomenal fashion). Has anyone heard any updates on how the ribs are this week? Probably won't know much until after Wednesday practice...

No it was definitely Eric - he throws an awesome one armed block on Briggs as Fred jumps to the hole. Love that play. Definitely the straight-arm game for me.

I didn't watch the game, but the local radio yahoos continue to focus on the loss of Logan Mankins and the play of the NE offensive line. Sounds as though Miami out-coached NE and dominated the second half. Great test for our o-line to come up big.

I give the team credit for recognizing that there is a need for some positive press clippings. At the very least I NEEDED some positive press clippings. Even his detractors on this board want him to do well. Lets Go Bills!
