I did not think you were preaching. I agree cruelty to animals is morally wrong and it could be argued that hunting is more humane than commercial meat production. I was wondering if you choose not to eat animals but wear leather (shoes, belt, etc). I never understood that. I am also not a hunter, only because it never interested me. Just making conversation....

I do not hate Marty. I do not prefer losing all the time, instead of losing in the playoffs. I want a coach who will win it all, not just make the Bills suck less. Just once I want the Bills to be the BEST!

Question - just curious not looking for an argument - are you Vegan? Do you eat dairy products, wear leather, and do you research products to see if any animal product is a part of it (like Jelllo)? It is hard to do! I do not hunt, and I enjoy meat but it is not part of every meal. I believe animals were put here to be used, just like in some areas, people are food to a polar bear. I despise trophy hunters. I do not mind if a hunter mounts his trophies, but eat what you kill. I was talking to a guy yesterday, and he was not talking about killing defenseless animals, he was looking to fill his freezer.

As a long time fan, I have been able to detach myself from this team emotionally this year. Today, my only thought was that when the team left for the airport, I would have handed Jauron a bus ticket and a pink slip. With five minutes left in the game, down by a TD, only to lose 41-17 ! It cannot get much worse. I still wear my Bills stuff, just to piss off the loser "fans". LOL

It is so sad it has come down to that. Can't blame the fans! I was moving my daughter to a new apartment, or I would have watched the game, at least in the background.

I support the Bills. If Jauron succeeds, maybe the Bills will succeed. As you said, people are free to disagree, just post it on another thread. The problem is many failed reading comprehension, just do not give a ****, or both. Nero is tuning the fiddle.

Luckily for me, after last year, I finally was able to start this season with NO expectations at all, so this season does not hurt. I expected nothing and I got it. I still am a Bills fan, and will be until I die or they move. I follow my usual NFL season routine, watch all the games on tv, go to one or two at home... but the excitement is gone. I do not count a game as a win until the clock is at 0:00 and the Bills scored the most points. This is the year I realized Ralph Wilson will never do what an owner must do to win the Ring: hire the best coach and GM he can find, sit back and write checks to pay for the best players they can sign within cap rules, and and just *enjoy* football again. The SMARTEST owners are still not the best GMs or coaches. Scrimping on players is fine if winning is not your goal. You get what you pay for, and all we have is a couple limousines and a dozen Yugos.

I have been a Yankees fan about as long as I have been a Bills fan. I used to just start to pay attention after the all star break, and always watch the playoffs and World Series (whoever was in), so I have been steady. I like having the YES network, and it seems like almost all that is on tube anyway is reruns or crap (or reruns OF crap). There are about two or three NEW regular shows I care about. The Yankees have been a lot of fun to watch this year, I do not care how much they get paid, and I get in nobody's face. If everyone loved the Yankees or the Bills or... how boring would sports be?!

Ed Rutkowski was drafted as a WR. Rating him as a QB is not fair. The line was the real disaster. They were so bad that he took the ball from the center in the shotgun formation to give him an extra second before he was creamed. The 'shotgun' was very rarely used back in the 60's. It was invented by the 49ers in the early 60's for the same reason the Bills used it! We were looking at the formation, asking what the hell are they doing?
