The East Main Street Rochester "retail beer distribution center" is the Wilson Farms store at the corner of E. Main and Merchants Road (6 each available at 8 AM today). The location on Park Ave is small shop in a plaza between Alexander and Goodman Street and is also giving out 6 per customer (as of the date stamp of this post anyway). If I get a chance I will write a camp report from last night. It was kind of dull (others said the same thing w/out me asking), but had some interesting notes. I got a few pictures too. Only TBD person I saw was Mike32822 or whatever the number is. I assume most were packing for the Canton trip!

With 24x7 news everywhere, I do not mind if they shift gears from headlines to a "puff piece" now and then. It makes you realize that for every Manning there are 500 Hamden's who are backups and need to learn to do something after their 3.75 year career. So much of the reporting is opinion anyway... I believe you because I have a hard time getting a handle on large abstract number$. A friend was a management analyst in the 70's at Picatinny Arsenal in NJ. He was not successful because his suggestions for waste reduction often included reducing the staff, but his "superiors" wanted justification for MORE, not less.

You do not really want to know what goes on in kitchens or canning factories.

Yeah, as was mentioned in this thread, ONE law that listed all the stupid chit a driver will get ticketed for if caught could replace 50 individual laws. It won't happen - I agree with that.

If I ever ran for office, my platform would be to remove one unneccesary law every week from the books.

Not my problem. We have a sales rep who calls in on his cell phone every Monday morning - pulled off to the side of the road with a cup of coffee - because his attendance is required and he is in the middle of his commute. He has made allowances for his schedule. All I said was I WISH the driver of a vehicle would pay attention to that. Part of my culture - back in the 70's - was having a cop pull you over when you were dead drunk, weaving all over the road, and just tell you to go home and be more careful. I wish everyone would stop making excuses and modify their cultural behavior when it comes to the safety of others.

The ban on cell phones has not stopped most people from driving and chatting. I wish car drivers would stop or severely limit multi-tasking in general!

Obviously, Danny was not making the margin he wanted to stay the sponsor. I agree it was easier when Wegmans ran it. Every year it is getting a little less convenient to get to camp, and it is not a freebie sample fair - but it is ten minutes from my house! I can't B word! As far as parking at Nazareth or somewhere in town - prepare to get towed. Also, it is not like the area around RW stadium. Residents are not allowed to turn their lawns into parking lots.

Mark57, I am just curious. I have read several of your posts and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why you are here, at Two Bills Drive. I am not a blind optimist. I have no high horse. I wear boxers. I like the Bills. Every year on opening day, I hope to see good football - and I hope the Bills win. I understand frustration and criticism, but you are over the edge in your venomous posts. So, why are you here? How can you exude such anger and be a FAN? Are you just trolling? I am just curious.

There is a nice park by the canal, Perinton Park, that is not far from the lots. Also, if you are discreet, I would think you could have a mini tailgate in the parking lot. Beer in a cup and sandwiches, but no grills.

I try to enjoy the short summer season one day at a time. Hell, it is still July. Summer in WNY needs to be savored (especially this year when it only shows up about once a week). When September gets here, for me the Bills mean it is the OFFICIAL start of autumn (forget that equinox thing).
