  1. I'm going to add what I'm sure will be an unpopular response. And, before I get to the meat of it, I'll say, Simon, if I'm given edit rights and instructions on how to do so, I'd gladly update it on the site. Anyway, the day the schedule came out, I downloaded it to my work Outlook calendar and to my personal Google calendar. I certainly know I can see it in may different places including the Bills website. That being said, most places it's not quite as neat (i.e. just a simple listing of only the Bills games where I can see all the games without clicking week to week) as on this site. And, also Two Bills Drive is my Chrome homepage, so it's ALWAYs open. Please don't consider this as me complaining as I try to not whine when people are providing a free service to me. However, every year I wish the schedule would update on Two Bills Drive earlier than it is. And, I'd be happy to do something to help. I don't know how to update websites but if it needed to be in a specific format to be uploaded and that would mean typing it out manually, I'd be happy to do that and send it on.
  2. I go there to watch player or coach interviews, maybe miced up, embedded.
  3. He played four seasons for the Bills, 80-83. I really liked him, he was money on short yardage situations. Whenever the Bills were in 3rd or 4th and 1, I'd say, "It's 4th (or 3rd) and Leaks." He had a total of 313 rushing attempts for the Bills and averaged 3.6 yds/carry. I was looking for how many first downs, but couldn't find that on the websites I checked. My memory from that long ago was if he had 313 attempts, he must have had 310 1st downs (yes, I know that's very unlikely)!
  4. The Saints would still own his rights however unless they agree to let him find employment elsewhere.
  5. I grew up in Irondequoit, for those that don't know it's a suburb North of Rochester. My father still lives part of the year at the house he bought in 1954 (he turns 101 this August). Since they moved TC to SJF, I've enjoyed going to camp every year I can make it and my father likes going with me. No chance I'd talk him into going to Buffalo to go to TC, but assuming I can get tickets and make it back to Rochester during camp, I'm really hoping to take him again this year. Even being a STH, I couldn't get tickets on the only day I could make it last year. That's to me the one thing that stinks about the changes the last few years, the difficulty in getting tickets. Having TC in a Rochester suburb is a great thing for those fans in Rochester. I can understand those living in Buffalo likely don't enjoy the drive, but for me, I hope they keep going to SJF.
  6. Only part of this post is correct. He does spend all his time on Bills work now. However, that includes studying college players that the Bills bring in for 30 visits or private workouts. He also looks at several (I don't remember the number but I think closer to 100) players that he expects to be in the top rounds of the draft whereas in the past he'd study more like 250 players. As such, he did study film on Walker and others prior to the draft and reported on his findings (he hated Walker as others have stated). After the draft, he studies film on those he hadn't originally studied. Agree or disagree with Marino, he does study the players and his opinions are based on work he's put in, not just regurgitating other's analysis.
  7. I haven't heard the interview yet, likely will listen tonight. But, while what you say is often true, I wouldn't make the statement as an absolute like you did. And, was he defensive or did he just lash out at the question? I'm sure in many ways it's the same thing, but not always. I was at dinner with a coworker last Thursday. He asked me a question that I felt I answered twice already and I was pretty sure he was trying to get me going. I lashed out big time on him at dinner. I didn't believe there was a "shred of truth" in what he was implying, but I was really sick and tired of him asking the same question in what seemed to me an accusing way again and again. My (over) reaction was intended to get him to shut the f up about the subject and move on. I suspect Beane is sick of answering the question plus, as he has said before, the Bills aren't playing any games in April. If in September we have the same WR corps and it's not good enough and we lose games because of it, then it's time to complain.
  8. Overpriced? In my neighborhood a house that size that backs to a busy street and needs significant updating is easily twice that. But that's So Cal. I don't see how 1st time buyers could ever do it.
  9. What's wrong with the Museum of Play? It's quite good for little kids. My son took his first steps there (almost 23 years ago).
  10. Cook has much less wear on his body than typical 26 year old backs. He wasn't high volume in college or as a rookie. The last 2 years were much higher but still not bell cow level.
  11. Never been to Vegas' new stadium but have been to 3 games at SOFI (and a Rolling Stones concert). It's a very sterile environment.
  12. Neither Vegas or LA have retractable roofs.
  13. Lol. I just read an article on TWSN titled "New York Jets Signing Stephon Diggs." From the headline it sounded like fact and I came here because normally someone posts on TSW before I see it elsewhere. Not seeing it mentioned, I went back and actually read the article. It was total conjecture and was just saying it would be a great move.
  14. Being outspoken isn't the same as being a cancer, none of the players you mentioned were ever a cancer.
  15. No way! The Bills are a better team without him just like the Vikings were. And just like every team (except the Bills) that Terrell Owens was on were better off without him. Cancers are cancerous regardless of their talent.
  16. Was thinking the same. 5 of 15 available CBs are ex Bills.
  17. Just on here to make note that if any team actually thought it started at noon EST, they will be off by an hour. Yesterday, daylight savings time started and we pushed the clocks ahead an hour. The so-called legal tampering period started at noon EDT which would actually be 11 AM EST. So, any GM too stupid to know the difference is behind by an hour! But, more to the point, Former, as others have pointed out, it starts at noon EDT, not noon local time. And, 9 AM PDT is not so early that GMs are unwilling to be talking to agents at that time of the day.
  18. That's basically what Joe Marino has been saying for the past week. He must take a pay cut at least equivalent to the $8.3 million (I may not have remembered exactly correct, but I'm sure I'm close) cap relief we'd get by cutting him. Marino says even then he's fine either way, would kind of prefer to just cut him and get younger.
  19. It's irrelevant that you'd forgive him. Unless you're not a Bills fan,why would you want to weaken the Bills? Getting rid of Diggs was a great example of addiction by subtraction. Talented cancers are still cancerous and ultimately make the team worse.
  20. Except the problem is he's not an all around back at all. All around backs rush, catch, and block. Thurman Thomas frequently was called the best all around back over Barry Sanders and Emmitt Smith because he was a much better blocker (and a better receiver). Cook CAN'T block.
  21. I was at the game on my regular seat, 30 yd line opposite end from this play. At first I thought it was a TD and yelled "Oh fxxx !". By then everyone was celebrating and I felt like an axx.
  22. I have a work leadership conference at a resort in San Juan Puerto Rico starting today. Reception starts at 5 est. which i assume will be done enough by game time. I'll be at a pool bar watching. I've already had 4 beers during this 1st game so soon I'll need to start pacing myself.
  23. It is 7 games out of approximately 1000 games, but that means 0.7%, not 0.007%. But, is that really the way to look at it? Although accurate that knowing you're watching a Bills game there's only a 7/960 (I assumed your game count is close enough) chance of it being a SB appearance clinching game, the other games during the pre-season, post-season, and regular season would never have an opportunity to be a game to go to the SB. Best case is there's one chance per year to be in that game. So, the way I'd look at is 7 years out of 64 or a 10.9% chance that this is a year we're in the conference finals. Regardless, just win this game and let's be in the Super Bowl! Go Bills!
  24. I actually had meant to content about air quality. For those who don't see it you maybe can't imagine how bad it gets. With fires 50 miles away it is very noticeable. Youth sports get canceled. When not bad enough for canceling, when my son was a teenager he'd get asthma attacks if he tried playing during fires.
  25. I live in south Orange County which is a bit closer to LA than to San Diego. No fires near my house now but the winds are really bad from what my wife is telling me (I'm in Alabama for work this week and going from here to Rochester to go to the game on Sunday). My wife told me that my Bills flag was blown off of the flag pole rod it's on and the pole is completely bent from the winds. I asked if she at least was able to retrieve my flag, she did. But, she added, "Before you ask, I'm NOT going to get on a ladder and try to take care of your flag in these winds." See picture below. That's the only damage we have.
