  1. I listened to the live interview with 2 NFL.com hosts. It's literally what he said and I heard it from his mouth. :15 second mark http://www.nfl.com/videos/combine-today/0ap3000001103923/Tee-Higgins-explains-why-he-didn-t-do-drills-at-the-combine
  2. Incorrect. "He said two months or a month." His own words. Plenty of us said it's not that big of a deal but when you're using that as your excuse for not participating - it would help him to be better prepared with his answer. That's all.
  3. Paying more than a players value is what free agency is. He's worth about 8.5 and that's if you feel his production fits nicely into the scheme.
  4. Exactly. And the players don't experience the winters of my childhood today during the playing season, yet we keep spewing the same drivel and I get the confused emoji's.
  5. It's amazing how similar their measurables are. I'm normally against a trade up in the first round. It just costs too much, IMO. However I'd consider it for Jeudy - I think he's going to be special. Even though they have similar playing styles - the way Jeudy runs routes and has a lot of nasty in his game, I'd only consider it for him.
  6. Correct and it's the tough side of the tag. I understand both sides and it's a difficult situation.
  7. Yeah definitely. I think he just cracked and said something stupid when we all know what happened. He thinks he's good enough to not have to participate and he'll work out at his pro day. It was just dumb to put it out there that way. Pretty simple and overall not a big deal. I suspect every team will also think this is a non issue.
  8. We've had 11 guys eclipse 1,000 yds receiving in the last 20 years and we wouldn't be interested in Green. That's just hilarious to me. We're so good we don't need someone who's done it 6 of his 9 years. Nah we're good on offense, we'll just find someone better, hahahahaha.
  9. Yeah I agree it's a bad look and he didn't do himself any favors. However a lot of these kids are nervous, young and dumb. I don't think he came off as arrogant in the interview of him speaking - it's just that he shouldn't do a lot of public speaking. At the end of the day, I don't need my WR's to be the smartest guys on the team. I'd still draft him with little concern about him skipping the combine. He should have just worded it completely different.
  10. Yes and then I think BB will sign Brady to the new team he'll be coaching. This way he'll get to keep Brady and stick it to Kraft for overriding him twice.
  11. That's why I posted it. He literally said those exact words.
  12. He said "he had a long season and only had 4-5 weeks to prepare for this compared to the other guys who had two months or a month."
  13. Buffalo isn't in the bottom half of worst cities to play in.
  14. Obviously we differ - which is perfectly fine. I just don't think teams think that way about Green. I can definitely see a team like the Steelers, Seahawks, Patriots, Colts and Chiefs (if they let Sammy go) being interested with little concern about his motivation if he makes good money. We should be in on a player like Green if he becomes available and I suspect we will.
  15. AJ Green is far from a desperation acquisition. Great one's will or have investigated if his ankle is healed. Players like him don't come available often and if he hits free agency, he'll have several strong organizations going after him.
  16. A team that is comfortable with his ankle being healed and doesn't want to make a long term commitment. At some point we have to commit to acquiring top end WR talent. Teams over pay for WR's all the time because they're so difficult to get. Green will have a large market for his services (if he's not franchised) and it's not going to be for under $10 mil a year.
  17. I wouldn't go quite that high but I'd gladly give him a 2 year - 30-32 mil deal. WR is the most difficult position to fill in the NFL past QB, IMO. I think older short term players are the answer with our cap situation. It gives us an opportunity to fill some voids without long term commitments and draft their replacements now. I think that's how the great organizations do it.
  18. I just hope it turns out bad for both sides. Even if that means staying together.
  19. That's not true as a blanket statement.
  20. I forgot the Bills play outdoors. You are a teacher.
  21. You think that happens enough for players to not want to come here? I don't - the players deal with very little weather comparably.
  22. Outliers - thank you for making my point.
  23. What winter would he or any player have to deal with?
  24. There's no way we're going to pay a 37 year old TE $12 mil a year.
