Our head coach's conservative offensive mindset and Daboll's inept play calling are the biggest reason to be concerned about our offense. They've clipped his natural instincts wings. He's even running strange and falling awkwardly when getting tackled. Then when they need him to step up and use his instincts he consistently has delivered. Yes, he misses some throws, they all do, not just young QB's. A young QB is going to miss seeing the open guy at times. Your fear should be with our head coach wanting the time of possession to be with our defense. That's a problem. The "play fearless" comment was a hoax.

I think they should trust them because at some point you need to. We're getting to and winning the super bowl without the offense coming together. IMO, they had a great opportunity yesterday with virtually nothing to lose. Instead they were only thinking of that particular game and not where the offense needs to be. We'll fizzle out anyway, why not let them go?

You're 100% correct that it's certainly as much the offenses' fault, if not more - but our defense got embarrassed by a lousy offense.

Don't get me wrong, I blame McD too, they're both offensive morons. What are they waiting for? We locked up a playoff spot and we're on the road against our two decade long nemesis. That's our game plan? If ever there was a time to try and let this team open it up - with no pressure and get excellent feedback because NE's defense is legit - it was Saturday. All these two offensive morons did was further tell the entire offense we don't trust you. In fact, we'd rather not have the ball. We purposely want the time of possession in the favor of the opposing offense. I used to think it was dumb - now I know it's a decision and they believe something that isn't true. That they can win long term playing this way on offense.

I'd love to give Daboll another running weapon so he can even further blur the lines of when to run and when to pass.
