I don't want either EJ or Cassel going anywhere. EJ showed he still has a future and Cassel is the perfect guy to have on your roster because he's a guy that excels in short passes and takes little risks.

This post makes absolutely no sense. As others have said the pressure is exactly the same for Shady - he's the starter and the reason we'll run the ball great or we won't. It possibly changed for any other RB that makes the team. So if Chris Hogan gets cut and Deonte Thompson makes the team the pressure is going to be on Watkins?

Yes it reflects poorly that the GM and head coach are picking the best 53 man roster instead of smartly picking the players fans want for sentimental reasons.

I think we as a fan base sound ridiculous to be honest - holding on to silly things like this. I get hating he's gone - but to be outraged to the point he should still be here is stupid. Just hate he's gone and that's it. Wanting Whaley fired or worse, when he's clearly the most competent GM we've had in over a decade shows how you love your own pity more than you're ready to be a part of a real NFL franchise. I've heard comments like "I want Fred to be here when things are good because he was there for us when things were bad." Are you serious? Well if you want a GM like that then you want us to be like we've been. Wishing we were good when Fred was good is another thing.

6 Months ago I wouldn't have loved the idea of trading for RG3 but I would have certainly understood and gotten behind it. I would have felt like - hey this is a team that is void of a QB beyond hoping EJ's light comes on, bring in RG3 and lets see if we can't protect him and get Roman to coach him up to what he should have been. If someone would have said no I don't want to trade for RG3 because we're looking at trading for Cassel or I really want to see this Tyrod Taylor kid - I would have cussed that person out. After one camp, I don't feel desperate anymore. Amazing!
