I like Tyrod for sure and it's way too early to rule him out as the future. I like Stafford too but it would just be too complicated to accomplish acquiring him.
Let's just hope that in 2 years we're in a tough situation having to re-sign Tyrod for all the right reasons.
Not sure if we're set yet but we might be. I don't think it's ridiculous anymore to think Taylor could be the long term answer. One thing I know for sure is we can't say he isn't.
You must have forgotten watching Kiko getting blown up on run plays up the middle. IMO he's the exact comparison to Brandon Spikes but for the exact opposite skill sets.
I remember Trent Dilfer saying the reason RGIII can't survive with his style play is he's "small jointed" and that he just doesn't have the body mass to withstand getting hit. I see Kiko in the same light. His body cannot withstand the reckless abandon he's willing to put his body through.
I understand what the OP is saying and I mostly agree. But I have the same question to the players. Unless Rex is putting you in coverage or literally telling you fill your gap only and don't rush the QB - can't you guys rush the passer?
I'm actually glad this team is in London - it's good that they're not here being bombarded by local media. If Rex is anything he's a coach approachable and in touch with his players. I would imagine he'll have a good talk with at least the d line if not the entire front 7 - listen - and they'll work things out as professionals. If he doesn't take the opportunity to do that - and we'll hear - then I'll question him as a coach to another level.
I think we got better at QB, corner, OL and TE. The rest of the team is significantly worse than last year. I think had what was good about us last year shown up this year - we'd be one hell of a team. I can't help but blame Rex.
I would think you'd have no issue streaming because it's not being prodcast to you via a television outlet. They don't know where you physically are on the we so as long as you have paid services - I think you're watching the game with no issue.
Thank you Sammy. I've been longing for this kind of attitude from one of our WR's. All the greats get p'd when they don't see the ball and I'm 100% behind his attitude and comments.
I got a paper cut after the great Jackson was cut while laying down. Then Jackson said Whaley lied. Laying there injured I knew there was a connection.
I wish Rex would have not messed with Carpenters' head. You just don't do that to a kicker. These guys need to be kicking with a clear mind. It's a pressure job and they don't need to be psyched out by their own coach before the season starts. He's been a money kicker and I think it was the worst approach to take.
I get that tough defensive minded coaches think of kickers as necessary evils and have that thought that their not really football players - but when I thought of building a bully, I wasn't hoping for our own head coach to do that to our own kicker.
