  1. You can't bring up circumstances, draft picks and cap space. He's judged by wins and loses only - remember?
  2. You think that's the average?
  3. How would you judge him with two 9-7 seasons then?
  4. This topic is currently being discussed in another thread. (automated response)
  5. How depressing it is reading this stuff.
  6. Spikes could have helped us tremendously.
  7. Why in the world are you attacking your fellow fans? Grow up. So if I thought the Rex hire seemed logical then your frustration is with me?
  8. I do and most of the people I know here in Charlotte do. Reason I know is I just went through that a few Months ago and upon asking around more people than I thought have it.
  9. How did your theory work for Ponder whom this thread was started about? Very very few have a long career as the 3rd QB. Especially now because that spot is being used for young developing QB's.
  10. I don't think a job that insecure is a very good gig.
  11. I understand what you're saying of course. You could also say the worst don't play a lot.
  12. I think it depends on how you define best and worst.
  13. Best: Tyrod McCoy Watkins Glenn Hughes Worst: Goodwin Groy Lavar Edwards Josh Johnson O'Leary
  14. I believe we already understand. We need our starting QB to play in order to have a chance to win.
  15. I'd like to stick with Rex working with Dennis Thurman on game planning. There's something about watching them whisper to each other while Thurman calls in the defensive play that comforts me on Thurmans role.
  16. If he came out of the lineup you'd miss him terribly.
  17. It's become an impossible job.
  18. While on a constant search for a franchise QB it appears the harder find could be a franchise coach.
  19. It at least contributed to the loss. If it's not, then nothing was the reason because no one thing can ever be proven that was the cause.
  20. Denver has the best defensive coordinator in the game and one of the best ever.
  21. Yes clearly the safety and LB issue has been the reason we went from the leagues most ferocious defense getting after the QB to hardly touching one.
  22. He did that too. It's a pattern with him, he says it's ultimately my fault - right after he gets done explaining how it wasn't.
  23. That will eventually prove to be the pioneering contract that us to future options. So you'd rather be dealing with the cable company with no competition for even television to have the NFL package? That sounds delightful.
  24. I respect your post - but do disagree. The direct package isn't a crime - what would you have the NFL do? What other singular company could really deliver to the most people? The cable companies are all chopped up and gave hell to the NFL for the NFL Network in certain areas. The true crime is how we were trapped into using our local cable company to get TV channels all those years as they basked in their little monopolies- they kept raising their rates and offered the consumer nothing. Directv drove the cable companies to have to earn our business instead of the crap customer service you got because you were stuck without an option. Obviously the next chapter is going to be interesting but I've always gotten excellent customer service from Directv and they gave us choice as they evolved from single LB where you could only watch on one tv to where they are now. I have zero issues with the NFL partnering with Direct for as long as they have. Now they have competition and that usually means nothing but good news for us the consumer.
  25. Fred never got sick - Whaley sucks
