I don't recommend pissing Tom Brady off.

It's a rough sport no doubt. I had an indirect connection to Justin Strzelczyk who if you don't know was from Buffalo (West Seneca) and his family thinks football killed him. I haven't seen the movie but I was told he played a big role in Concussion.

You can be a prick but the men have to follow you too. Some coaches the players love some the players don't but the good ones on either side of that get respected by their players. That never happened for Marrone.

Sadly I don't think we'll see Lynch run like beast mode anymore. I'd imagine his body has paid quit a toll.

The team didn't look real good at all offensively they had an amazing defense. Parcells I'd argue was a very beloved coach by his players. He's the kind that drove his players hard but the reward was great and they eventually appreciated his toughness. There's a big difference between a tough hard nosed coach (Parcells) and a coach that alienates his players (Marrone).

I've stated this before that I ran into Brandon Spikes at a BBQ place in his hometown during the off season after we hired Rex. I didn't ask him a single question about Marrone but he offered something close to this. He said no player he knew liked Marrone. He said he was unapproachable and always sat in the back of the bus/plane never speaking to players. Called him smug and arrogant.

They are certainly a contender for the SB win but I think any of the 4 are capable. I also have no inner Patriot.

I think the point of the signing is trying to find a helpful player without spending a lot. It's been done a lot lately at the position as evidenced by the playoff teams today.

He had a really nice game too. You could see the effects of his leadership.

Same thing could happen if Roman became head coach with his new D coordinator. Which proves that firing a coach after one year isn't smart and why they wanted Marrone to stay. The issue with your statement is you hate roller coasters but when the rides over want to get on another one.

There's multiple ways to succeed. That's been proven.

In 2013 his team was 2nd in yds/game and 4th in points. 2014 he was 5th in yds and 3rd in points.

I'm shocked Schwartz isn't getting more interest. I have to think he's made it known that he's looking for something specific. It might sound arrogant but I think he's just a guy that moves to the beat of his own drum.

How does a guy that gets this many interviews for HC jobs - not have any opportunities to be an OC as the fall back plan? He must not have very many friends in the league and/or he's not very respected as an offensive mind.

The refs will hide it the best they can in that both teams will be penalized the same amount - they will just make sure the Patriots get the critical holding calls etc to go their way. The drive extension/stall calls will predominantly go in the Pats favor but that kind of breakdown of the penalties won't get talked about.

As someone who left the Buffalo area about 20 years ago - this is nice to hear. It will be interesting to see if Buffalo can become attractive enough to get Buffalo born people to come back.

There's reports that scientists are seeing a lot of progress in the fight for a cure. I sure hope so - it's alarming how many people are getting cancer and younger.
