But it was such a beat down (if they watched the game) that I can see people feeling like they got fooled thinking we could beat the Pats. I think we're good because we have a lot of excellent players but I'm not positive. We beat a Colts team that now appears to be not very good and got smashed by the Patriots. I wouldn't think it's unreasonable to pick Miami even after picking us against the Pats. This team IMO has a lot to prove. Again I think we'll be fine - but I'm not going to pretend that this isn't an important game to win - and I'm a little nervous.

It's not about being ok with it, what would you have me do? Is your "not being ok with it" going to make the team better? It's pretty simple - we're not ready in week 2 to compete with the best in the NFL. It doesn't mean you're in the know and the rest of us are "drinking Kool-Aid". We're a good team on paper that hasn't proven much - but don't you think it's the mature thing to watch the rest of the games knowing we most likely won't look that bad? I love how people like you change the argument to suit you. I don't mind that you're pissed - it's that you're trying to convince the rest of us that if we're not, we're blind. Have your feelings just don't come on here thinking everyone else has to. So if you think we're all blind and we should all succumb to how bad we suck or we're stupid - then why keep watching and posting on here? So one of the great defensive coaches in all of football is just simply that stupid? I'd think there was a bit more to it for example - then they'll get behind you and burn you deep or it's easier to take an angle once they make a move vs chasing. Those little dudes are quick if you're up too close it can be a problem.

That's exactly right. They nullified the rush with quick passes - which is what they do. They are so excellent offensively and like another poster said - with the new rules, when Brady isn't making any mistakes he can't be defended. We're not ready to beat the Patriots. We now just need to beat the teams we're capable of beating and work towards being a team that can hang with the leagues best teams.

Our cry baby fan base can't handle acting like your post suggests.
