  1. What's interesting is Rex and Whaley talking about putting fear in defenses by having Goodwin and Listenbee on the field at the same time.
  2. I like him at the weight he is and let him play strong safety. I've read a lot on how the strong safety in todays NFL is often asked to play certain linebacker roles - so to me he's that. I don't see him as a linebacker or edge pass rusher.
  3. Peyton was still reading defenses and controlling the offense even though his arm strength deteriorated. Let's not act like Sanchez can just step right in and they'll be fine - they won't be.
  4. You've been let down by our draft picks? What the heck would make you happy? Our picks have been fantastic.
  5. I just doubt 15 of the 17 picks will be defensive players - I think more very good players will be available than the list you provide in the poll.
  6. I don't know exactly what your post is saying but Whaley said naturally guys add 5-10 lbs once they get on an NFL diet. Sounds like they welcome him getting a little bigger.
  7. I think you'll see Dareus where you have Shaq - he's best at that spot - Kyle where you have Dareus - Barnes/draft pick at the nose and Shaq where you have Lawson.
  8. You're coming from a different angle. I'm not saying Rex drafted Lawson - maybe you are. The GM drafts players with input. I think Rex's input is as valid as anyone in the NFL for defensive players.
  9. Love the pick. Let's not pretend Rex doesn't offer good advice on drafting defensive players.
  10. Love the pic. Let's not act like Rex doesn't have valid opinions on drafting defensive players.
  11. He's shown you the baby and you won't look. His job is to handle the roster. As Astro points out he's done that to an outstanding level.
  12. That's kind of my point. If you keep drafting them you can't commit. Then you're making decisions on their future without them playing games like Petty. How in the world is that supposed to work? Some teams got lucky with a low pick i.e. Brady, Rogers and Wilson - others drafted a QB in a low draft position and they got lucky they worked out. I'd like to see if we got lucky with Tyrod - maybe he's our story. I'd like to give it more than 14 games before I determine that we should look to move on from him and draft one with a 1st or 2nd round pick.
  13. That's a lot of misses for the bunch that think we should just keep drafting QB's until we hit on one.
  14. What would be the goal of a pick in the 3rd or after?
  15. If Tyrod is the lead - yes you work out a long term contract. That's the entire point of this season for him and the Bills.
  16. I absolutely think if Rex is in trouble they'll look Romans' way. Here's my issue with todays coordinators - not that I blame them. They game plan instead of teach. Teaching is harder and more time consuming. There's a ticking clock for these guys to prove themselves worthy of staying an OC or becoming a head coach - and QB's suffer the most. If we look closely at this only the elite suffer very little from OC turnover. That's why the player all the more has to be special. I'm hoping Tyrod through is unusually beneficial road to learning then getting a shot - is that player that actually knows the game.
  17. Shady's gotta be loving him some Buffalo right now.
