  1. I'd think that's the game plan with all QB's - so it's about can you do it? We're hoping Tyrod has written a new chapter in his book titled - I've learned to throw over the middle and you're not gonna like it when I do.
  2. I see what you did there. He's going to be kicking a lot because of how much we're going to score - his leg may get tired. That is what you meant, right? haha
  3. On this we agree. I have a big heart for the black community and I wish I had the power to fix it. I hate thinking about any person feeling hopeless - as I sit in my very comfortable life. The crappiest part is it's not hopeless - but the mindset of these communities is one nightmare to try and fix. This issue is so daunting it's depressing.
  4. I saw your post before it got deleted. I'm guessing because of the insults within it. There's no need to go there to have a discussion. Look, all I'm saying is there's people hurting in these areas that appreciate and want the presence of law enforcement. They just want to live in relative safety and peace. I don't think it's fair to them or the police to say they just want to oppress black people. I mean I get it there's people in Orchard Park selling dope and smoking it - and it's probably easier for them to get away with it but the answer isn't leave other areas and head to Orchard Park so that it's proportionate.
  5. Yeah? Tell that to the millions of black people that live in these drug infested areas that want it out of their communities. You make jokes for standing up for the criminals and think you're smart? Don't you care about those people or should they be oppressed into having to live with it?
  6. Exactly - so if it's equal it just means more whites and asian's in jail. How does that help black people? I did study it. How do you know who's voting - if they don't show identification? How would you know the total of people fraudulently voting when we don't check ID's everywhere? I'm willing to admit there's BS on both sides of this issue. To say it's absolutely for oppression purposes only is naive.
  7. Ok, but if caught doing something whether targeted or not, it's a crime. So, you think the fix is less targeting so that minorities get away with as much as other races?
  8. You don't know that - it's just your opinion. That may have been a consequence but it was designed so that only citizens voted - people couldn't vote more than once - stop people that were deceased from still voting.
  9. That's no oppression - it's enforcing the law. Now if you think the law is only getting enforced to blacks and latino's - then the fix is to equally enforce those same laws in white, asian, etc communities. You're not suggesting stop enforcing the laws on certain groups because it's disproportionate, are you?
  10. I don't think everyone agrees now or then that it was the right thing to do. It's what he did and he eventually got some respect for doing it - possibly because he was a great athlete.
  11. I think it's just one of those things that as a coach you know the player wants to play a couple series and you want him to also - he got hit hard once - and then you just say damnit, I didn't want to see that happen - even though the possibility exists. Not a big deal to me.
  12. I didn't write that real well being a little under the influence after seeing the great Robert Cray in concert. In saying that, you can pound sand.
  13. I love that he's back on this team. I know he's not an all pro LB or anything but there will never be a time I don't love a MLB that can stop the run.
  14. I just spend the evening with a friend who was in 10th Mountain during Black Hawk Down. I was talking to him about this thread and he can't believe how many people under appreciate what he went through.
  15. It's like 10,000 spoons and we have a knife.
  16. Racism can't entirely be dealt with because you can't force people to change their hearts. Black people have more opportunity now than any other time in history. They also have never had more freedom to speak outwardly about it - not to say they don't get judged for it - but they certainly don't get the punishment of past generations. I just wish they would see that as a positive for themselves and start being appreciative to the country. Debate will always be there and it's why we're great and free. Black people are involved in that debate and it's a great thing. Even if we disagree with each other on substance at times. To have more hate than ever in history is not the answer - just because you're able.
  17. Yeah that was my take. It was inadvertent but when a large man lands on your head it's dangerous. I think those are the type of plays that get overlooked on how dangerous the game is.
  18. People are changing their minds in this country like never before.
  19. Not necessarily. We don't know one way or the other.
  20. Great, great, great way of putting it
  21. There's the viewpoint it's disrespectful to what a lot of people hold dear in this country - he has a right to say I don't care, I'm not standing to stand up for this - others have a right to say well then I don't think you deserve this country - he has a right to live here
  22. It was a great time and much respect to Ralph Wilson - but it's a new era and I'm ready to embrace the change. Not turning back for a minute.
  23. Theisman was terrible so I was able to switch to the Bills broadcast on the NFL pass. Damn Murphy even though he's our guy is just for me, exhausting to listen to. I thought about switching back.
  24. I could absolutely see him getting cut.
