  1. Ok, let's say he can't read. He supposedly made it through high school and college, yet he can't read? Doesn't that still suggest he has some sort of major learning disability at the very least, if not full fledged mental slowness? It also obviously suggests LSU was doing something less than legit to keep him in good academic standing.
  2. That logic makes sense...If true though, LSU should be investigated. How can you have guys making that far through high school, let alone college that can't read? Who is taking his tests for him?
  3. I would take Blackmon or Floyd in a heartbeat over Hill or Randle. Have you watched these guys play? Sure Hill has the combine numbers and highlight reels that Al Davis used to love, but how has that worked out for him? Blackmon absolutely dominated every time he was on the field. People fall in love with combine numbers (meaningless), watch the tape. Blackmon stretched the field just fine his entire career. Meanwhile Hill (who has potential, but is as risky as any WR in the draft), basically ONLY ran deep routes. Blackmon has almost as many TD's as Hill has catches. Hill reminds me of Devin Thomas a few years back, one year wonder speed demon and 1st ranked WR in that draft, now struggling to stay in the league as a kick returner. Take the guy who has proven he is a star. BTW, Stevie is plenty fast and can stretch the field just fine as well. But when you only have 1 legitimate WR he will almost always be doubled down field. Fitz is also far more accurate with short to intermediate passes. I'm all for a guy that is solid in all areas of the field, as opposed to just a deep threat.
  4. A 10 or a 13 is one thing, but a 4? Come on, I think most of us have taken a sample wonderlic, or at least seen the questions. A 4 indicates not just low intelligence, but some SEVERE mental shortcomings. Possibly even retardation. Maybe this was masked in a top ranked college program loaded with talent and good coaching, but in the NFL where the playbooks are far more complex, and the talent far and away above what he is used to seeing every week, I have to question how he can succeed. At the very least GM's should be very concerned about what they are getting in this guy. Vince Young and his limited brainpower couldn't handle being an NFL starter, and Claiborne makes him look like a genius.
  5. The whole point this test is to evaluate these players before the draft. GM's will see the real numbers, they don't need "leaks".
  6. That's an understatement. As others have noted just randomly selecting answers should produce something better than a 4. Agree though, I'm not usually a numbers guy, but everything points to him being a very risky selection. No way this guy graduates HS, let alone college with out some serious "help" due to his athletics. On the other hand, maybe this is a plus. He is obviously mentally handicapped in a significant way, yet he must be a hard worker to have overcome that to this point.
  7. OJ is, and only ever will be, guilty of one thing....Being a bad A $$ Buffalo Bill...
  8. Is that real? Doesn't that make him legally retarded or something? Well if he ends up busting in the NFL, he can always collect disability...
  9. McNeil showed skill early in his career, but that was then... I have watched almost all of the SD games for the last 3 years. McNeil has been oft injured, including permanent damage, but forget about that. When healthy the guy is a penalty machine and inconsistent in pass protection. If he could be had on the very cheap he might be worth a shot, but like Merriman, he hasn't shown talent in quite some time. I had no doubt SD was not going to bring him back, for good reason.
  10. Why would Tampa take Richardson among all of the other things noted? Not buying much of what I am seeing in this mock... I think Yolanda Vega picked this draft...
  11. This ^, I was thinking the same thing. WR is a huge need IMO, maybe even more of a need than LT. LB depth is badly needed as well. I don't think backup QB is ever a "big need". Thigpen looked awful in limited action, but let's face it, for most teams in the league if your starter goes down you are done. Whether you like it or not Fitz is our QB, and our success this year rides on him being healthy and effective.
  12. I don't like Tebow as a QB in general, but running the "wildcat" is exactly what he is made for. He doesn't have enough accuracy or the good decision making of a starting QB, but he can throw plenty well enough out of that formation. He can obviously run. Smith is fast, and a threat out of that formation. But my grandmother could throw better left handed than Smith, and she's dead... IMO, that formation is far more dangerous when you keep some sort of passing threat alive. More like Smith can't throw, so he's not allowed to throw it.
  13. Ridiculously excessive IMO, and is certain to be appealed. A one year suspension should be given to Williams, maybe a game or two to Payton, unless they can prove he was complicit in the whole thing. I am sure this practice was very widespread until now, it's being blown out of proportion.
  14. People honestly believe Bell is an above average LT? Why? Make me understand. I have watched every game, the guy has been beaten BADLY at times. Other times he appeared to hold is own. However he has never looked like anything approaching above average to me. Peters looked above average, Jennings looked above average (until injury), not Bell. I don't hate Bell, I just see him for what he is, a stop gap, average at best, injury prone LT. I think the Bills are doing the right thing so far. Make him a low ball offer, if he takes it, great. If not, oh well, since we should be looking for a more permanent solution anyway.
  15. I'm surprised at the love for Bell. The guy has never looked that good IMO, and on top of that he can't stay on the field. Let him go and look for a more permanent option. I'd start Hairston over him anyway and I am certainly not opposed to a LT early in the draft.
  16. Robinson maybe. He may not be anything special but should be "cheap". The draft may be our best bet, most of the decent WR's are gone already.
  17. God no. He makes SJ's hands look like Calvin Johnson's... He is mediocre in every way, and great in no way...
  18. Come on man, Tebow? This guy may be a celebrity but he isn't a legit NFL QB. He would however fit in perfectly to the cycle of Bills awful QB's... Besides, Manning is a short term solution I don't think the Broncos are in any hurry to get rid of him. The Bronco's made the playoffs, and their first off-season priority is to look at "real" QB's. Shows what they think of his ability, for good reason.
  19. This seems overly negative, even for TBD. Sure there is a risk of "Merriman syndrome", but that seems unlikely with a guy like KW. Plus there is no indication that he ever took steroids. Luckily KW's issue surfaced relatively early in the season last year giving him plenty of time to recover. I'm betting he will be just fine. Besides with guys like Kellen Heard and Spencer Johnson as depth, and playing alongside Dareus, they can be easy on him.
  20. This ^. Great down field threat, below average everything else. Makes big plays, but is extremely inconsistent. I really like what Nix has done so far, but his "experiments" with former SD players hasn't worked out too well. Buster Davis was, well, a bust. The Merriman adventure has yet to produce anything, and I think signing an expensive, overrated WR like Jackson would be following in those foot steps... No doubt the Bills still need a good WR opposite SJ though. I'd prefer a good all around WR like Garcon, but we do need someone.
  21. So you consider Fred Jackson a lower quality replacement?
  22. Phenomenal news, and it looks like the Bills got him reasonably priced all things considered. Now we can start looking for 1 or 2 or 3 more other receivers to play with him...
  23. So 268k people have a right to attend and vote at the annual stockholder meeting? That must be quite an event...
  24. Playing with RG3 huh, that could be good for him. Almost zero chance he will be back with the Bills. That trade everyone was complaining about certainly looks genius now... Of course those guys will never admit it.
