I hope the Bills use those two games (in case Edwards cannot go) to play Hamden and see what he has got.....Why do we need to show case Losman (not that it is a good thing for JP) when he is going to leave no matter what.

I think the biggest factor is to have another #2 WR that can help these guys eventually. Also, I think Evans is one dimensional in this offense (at least used that way). I rarely see Evans in the slot.

Thanks for pulling up....Agreed completely....Ngata is surrounded by pretty top talent on the front 7 plus the secondary....He may have been pretty average if he was playing on the Bills line...Remember Pat Williams struggled the year the Bills cut ties with Ted Washington and when they switched to 4-3.

The Ball needs to be in the same plane as the end zone line...It does not have to cross...The Steelers benefited from it in the SB too when Ben plunged in for the TD and the tip of the ball was in line with the endzone line.

Marv is a consensus decision maker. Jauron came in with running a cover-2 defense and wanted a stud Strong Safety (like a Bob Sanders) and wanted a fast moving DT in a 4-3 defense. Nagata was not a fit for such a defense and Whitner was. I think Marv agreed with Jauron from a coaching stand point.... Who is to say Nagata may not have failed here just like McCargo.

That is why the Jets will not make it too far into the playoffs even if they make it to the knockout stage...Their defense is just horrible....It was Losman who bailed them out today.

We did not run him enough today....neither did we against San Francisco, when he touched the ball once in the 4th qtr...If you don't put the ball in your best players hands, the OC has no business to be calling the plays.....To make it worse, we have probably the worst QB to have donned the Bills uniform in the last 20 years...He is probably even worse than Rob Johnson.

Todays loss was not due to the OL....Just like the wimpy play calling in prior games, the OC doesn't know when to go for the kill and when to play safe....You have to have game sense to do that....The bills D has not given a single 1st down in the 4th qtr and had just stopped the Jets offense midfield....What play do you make with your BACKUP QB....Losman is no Trent Edwards......Losman, Schonert and Jauron lost this game for us.

Add an interception to boot......We gave up 10 points in turnovers in the final quarter... Bad Teams find a way to lose....The Bills are a BAD TEAM Right Now.

A reason for that 4-2 is that the Dolphins had a coach who was worse than Jauron and we got 2 easy wins.

Haslett is another failed coach like Jauron. I would take Mariucci any day if he is available....Ralph needs to make this one final push at getting a good coach who knows how to win.

My hope too...He will be the perfect coach for our QB...and the coach also loves Edwards play.

If Batch recovers from the collar bone injury, he will re-sign with his hometown steelers and the Steeler really like him as the backup. This would also mean that Leftwich will be released by the steelers. However, he will garner some interest for starting jobs around the league...

I disagree....Wade broke that locker room by keeping the Johnson-Flutie controversy around. He did not help the Special Teams. He had pretty good talent on the defensive side of the ball with Ted Washington, Pat Williams, Bruce Smith on the line and yet he choked his way out in two playoff games.

The problem is we already have those type of players in Greer, Kyle Williams....If you put Bannan next to WIlliams and Leonard next to Wilson, this defense will be even worse.

The same actually goes for Mike Tomlin too....He is riding the co-tail of the best DC in the league right now. His Offense is stinking up the joint and the defense has bailed them out repeatedly.

I think (many may disagree) that except in this case we do have a QB available for the next coach.

Another in the line of Donahoe's mismanagement. If he knew that Greg Williams was unlikely to come back in the 2nd half of his final season, he should have been shrewd enough to fire Jerry Grey and make LeBeau the DC...That way the new HC would have automatically kept him without having to beg him to stay.

To be fair to the Bills, there really was no pass rushing DE in the market....What they could have done is gone out and also got Jenkins for the 2nd round pick to anchor the middle of the defense. The Fish got lucky when the Jets released Pennington. You think the Fins will be with this record with a rookie QB ? I doubt it....Look at the fish, they have no play makers either. It is also a smoke-and-mirrors team waiting to be destroyed. The Jets are showing their true colors again today with 2 straight losses to teams that they should be beating. Stround was brought in to stop the run and he has done that admirably....We lost out on our 1st round pick McCargo.. The whole season started off on a wrong foot with the absence of Peters....Peters really screwed this team up by forcing the team to move Walker to LT during training camp...May be this is a mistake Jauron made...Rather than keeping Bell at the LT position and leaving Walker on the right side, may be he messed with the chemistry of the line. The coaches have coached this team scared....When we need that extra 1st down against Cleveland, they chose to run the ball for 1 yard each...The same coaches choked against the 49ers playing at home....You cannot expect to lose 4 HOME games and go to the playoffs.

You are joking right ? The defense cannot pass rush, get off crucial 3rd downs, and cause turn overs. The LBs struggle to wrap up the ball carrier and the DEs have not been able to put any pressure on the QB. While I agree the Offense has multiple problems, the defense is pretty ragged too.

Is it whitner or the scheme ?

I think we really need a new HC, new DC and may be a new OC. Perry Fewell has been given 3 years to make this a top 10 defense....and he has failed....I don't see any reason to continue with his scheme of playing 10 yards of the WR. Turk started great, but has gone into a shell like Fairchild....No one seems to remind these guys that they need to put the ball in the hands of your play makers...Why not try some reverses with Parrish, Evans...These guys once they get open space, they are gone. Frustrating.

But Tomlin also was given a very highly talented team and the Steelers always draft very well....Lamar Woodley has emerged as a fantastic LB for them from last years draft. Plus, as someone said Tomlin Minus Dick Lebeau = Fired..... In fact even Bill Cowher rode the co-tails of Dick Lebeau to a SB championship.
