  1. Good for us. May be Geno or Barkley indeed fall to the #8 spot. Or it allows us to get Wilson in Rd #2.
  2. QB Needy teams: Obvious Needs: 1. KC 2. Arizona 3. Buffalo 4. Jax 5. Jets Most-Likely Need: 1. Cleveland 2. Oakland (If they cut Palmer) Wouldn't mind an upgrade, especially a veteran like Alex Smith: 1. Titans (Inconsistent Locker) 2. Vikings (Inconsistent Ponder) 3. Eagles (Vick is signed through only for a year) The rest 22 teams already have their starting QB in place.
  3. And that may have played into the decision. Do you carry two potential starters into the season with serious questions marks about their ACLs?
  4. Our esteemed GM thought that QB was Fitzpatrick and WR was TJ Graham so that he chose not to pick a real QB instead of Graham. Our loss was Seattles gain.
  5. I am glad I don't have to go through that!!!
  6. And that is why the Fish and Jets have stunk along with us over the past few seasons. The Pats on the other hand still have Tom Brady and a bunch of good coaches, that keeps them in post season play. And after all someone HAS TO win the AFC East.
  7. Is that a compliment or a complaint about the Jills (lack of bust)!!!
  8. Not sure why this hatred for Barkley. Barkley himself quoted that he has never surfed in life. Let us first play some games in December that count before worrying about games in January.
  9. It tells me nothing...They could simply think that the draft is WR loaded and will find their player. or May be they think they can rejuvenate Marcus Easley (whom Gailey never gave a chance at the WR position) and TJ Graham. and one that will have a potential HOF QB behind center for the next decade too.
  10. Definitely Bill Cowher did the later !!!! May be he doesn't fit the scheme Marronne wants to run on Offense. Why is this such a big deal! Now he needs a SB winning QB to go with!!!
  11. I don't think it is the worst QB class by any stretch...It is simply that the talking heads don't see a "Blue Chip" player in this draft like a Andrew Luck. However, I actually think there are good QBs in this draft and is a very deep draft that you can find the similar caliber QB in Round 3 to 5. The Bills should pick Barkley in Rd 1 and if he is not available should pick a stud LB or WR and then pick their franchise QB in the 2nd or 3rd and may be another QB in Rd 5. +1 I am on the Matt Moore bandwagon too. He is a better player than Fitzpatrick.
  12. Fitz was a 7th round draft choice...meaning he was never a 1st round draft material. It is so foolish that people are comparing Barkley with Fitzpatrick. Barkley is the best and most complete QB from this draft. I simply don't see him lasting until #8th pick. Arizona or Cleveland will be all over him before us.
  13. And both are from the Bill Parcells tree!
  14. I hope this is not Eddie Robinson Version 2.0
  15. Comparing the Nelson situation to Washington is a little surprising. Washington was a proven player. Nelson on the other hand has been our 3rd WR. You got to give the new coaching staff to bring in their kind of players.
  16. +1. Whoever says Dalton is same as Fitz don't know what they are talking. Buddy also missed picking Kaepernick in that same round.
  17. +1. You cannot get a great QB if you don't try. Getting a great QB is lucky. As Albert Einstein famously said: "A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.".
  18. Why ? Fitz had won 5 games against some crappy opponents, except for the win against the Patriots. The Bills had yet to play a single AFC East game outside of the win against the Pats. They could have simply waited the season and worst case may have ended up paying another Million a year if he had a better season. The Bills did not peel the onion to see if Fitz was the real reason for those wins and they would have found out that he was still an inconsistent QB. +1. Especially when there was literally no support from the other end. When Bruce Smith was racking up those sacks, Phil Hansen would hold down the fort on those 1-on-1 match ups...There is no Phil Hansen on this team. Chris Kelsay cannot even hold Hansen's Jock...And to make it worse, the DTs were simply porous. I think Williams had a good season. The only one thing I was disappointed slightly was his leadership, but then I really did not expect much, because he clearly told that to the team and the fans (at the time of signing) that he is not going to be the vocal leader of the team. He simply will lead by his actions.
  19. I believe he made 3.5M the previous year. THe 20+ M bonus must be for closing the labor issues.
  20. Every time Wood has been injured, Ryan Fitzpatrick game has nose dived. I agreed that Wood being injured so often is a great concern. However, when he is on that line, he actually is the best player. Fitzpatrick throws much better when Wood is on that line up.
  21. I would see the 49ers going after McKelvin rather than a washed up McGee..I don't think McGee can return kicks anymore. He just wouldn't have that speed any more.
  22. The real issue is that the NFL wants people to fly in and spend all there money on Saturday and Sunday at the Hotels/Food/Entertainment. If the SB was on Saturday, then people are flying in on Saturday morning to the game and then leaving out of the city on Sunday afternoon. That is less money to the host city's economy.
  23. The usual suspects are there!
  24. And why not! After all he was the SB Winning QB.
