  1. +1.....It is Addition by Subtraction...Now to send Brad Smith packing. Not sure why he is still on this team.
  2. Most of the FA in the first few days have signed either for "BIG" bucks or signed shorter deals with teams that will be competing for the lombardi trophy. Very few good FAs have signed with the likes of Browns, Raiders, Bills, Jax, KC etc without breaking the bank. There is not much teams like the Bills can do about it. Simple case: I am sure the Bills would have signed Welker to a 2 year 12 M dollar contract.....That is 6M for your 2nd WR.....Will that happen or likely to happen...No. The same goes for Talib...He signed a 1 year deal with the Patriots...
  3. But like for many other organizations, FAX is still the official accepted mode of communication. It is a shame because, my iphone app can do a much better job of scanning and sending a document than a stupid FAX machine. Why wouldn't the NFL provide a Web based software for agents/players to put in all their paper work online?
  4. I thought he made a big statement on Day 1 that it was important for him who the QB of the team that he would sign with. Ponder and Cassell ?? Uhh.
  5. And they have a gaping hole at the LT position.
  6. And we did last season :wallbash: However, one thing everyone keeps forgetting is that we ONLY have SIX picks in this draft and it could shrink down if we end up making trades to trade up. I don't think the draft is going to allow us to fill ALL our holes. People says this draft is deep @ LB, WR and TEs and we need a QB. Besides this we need a starting Guard, a 3rd WR, another LB, a 3rd string RB, a couple of more backup DBs.
  7. They could sign Kolb and cut Jackson. I don't think they owe anything to Jackson either in real cash or in Cap It seems insane for the Bills to tell anyone as to whether they will compete for a starting job. All players should be competing for a starting job and pushing the incumbent if one exists. That is how the depth gets built. What did the Bills achieve by telling Fitz that he will not compete for the starting job when they don't have a QB on the roster who will start for them.
  8. If Chandler does not recover from the Knee Injury, Keller would definitely be a better option.
  9. The moment Fitz was given a $62M contract, he is a starting QB. Why wouldn't he be criticized for his poor play (7-20 since signing the contract) just like Losman or Edwards were. He is one of the players responsible for the 7-20 record, so it is fair to criticize his play.
  10. Why ? Because they were offered more money in FA?
  11. I hope Keller will now visit the Bills that the Dolphins haven't offered him a contract.
  12. When the line you are anchoring is 32 and 31 against the run for the past two seasons, he definitely deserves some criticism.
  13. Don Banks writes about the Backup QB Market and it is a shame that he fails to write even a single line about Fitz.. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl/news/20130314/nfl-backup-quarterback-market-cassel-kolb/?sct=uk_t11_a5 Also, I don't understand why these pundits have Kolb going to the Jets...The Jets are already on the hook for close to 10M at the QB position for Sanchez. I don't understand how they can add another 3-4M to that position to get Kolb and compete. Kolb to the Bills would actually make more sense (as a primary backup).
  14. Why? Did Brady offer to have you for dinner with his family ?
  15. Thanks for the update. It would then be weird if the Cards sign Fitz to be their backup for a 3M a year salary and the Bills did the same with Kevin Kolb...Both guys were making around 7-8M a year with their two teams, refused to restructure their deals, got released and then signed with their opponents for the exact price their former employer demanded !!!!!!!
  16. Are the Bills in line for any compensatory picks at this years Draft in about 5 weeks ?
  17. How could some one expect any results if they have been graded with a poor E!.
  18. You assume Jones is going to fall to the middle of the 1st round. I doubt that will happen. And what is the one player someone will covet at #8 to give their 1st and 2nd for ? May be the Bills need to stop putting more former players on the Wall. That wall is just getting too strong year after year!!! making it difficult for the players to get over it
  19. You mean the Lingerie Bowl?
  20. May be this coaching staff has a more positive outlook on Marcus Easley than the previous regime.
  21. The Baby boomers were a hard working, earn-your-money-the-hard-way folks...On the other hands the folks from today's generation are.....take everything for granted!!! +1
  22. Right down on I-95. JAX Sure why not...With the 20M from the Bills for a 7-20 record, he can buy an entire island off the Florida coast.
  23. Cut Him !!!! I heard Troupe was bench pressing 700, 30 times!!!!
  24. We already know where Nelson, Fitz and Barnett can take us and that is to a 6-10 record. Why bother paying them when you cannot get the necessary returns or a hope for improvement. I would rather sign up street FAs who have more hunger and more disciplined to play for the Buffalo Bills.
  25. That just showed how bad was Jauron's offense. However, Gailey is still light years behind many of the creative offensive coordinators in today's NFL. Once teams figured out Fitz lame throws in the flat, Gailey's offense stunk. They could not covert 3rd and shorts consistently to be able to move the chain. Gailey's stats are padded a little by what Spiller did in a 1/2 workload.
