  1. A Mark Sachez type situation
  2. and the focus on defense !!!!
  3. You Welcome. You are after all the "Hopeful" :-)
  4. Don't worry. We still have Fitzpatrick and many folks on this board would love to rip Mario Williams all the time. And if McKelvin signs baclk with this team, then we have our whipping boy back. And finally don't forget....Aaron Williams is still on this roster!
  5. And that people who don't try have a 0% chance for luck. Not attempting to draft a QB and sign misfits like Thigpen, Young, TJ are the reason why w are where you are.
  6. Not many people on this board are critical at the draft record of Buddy. The biggest issue with Buddy was his reluctance or lack of insight to drafting a QB for this team. Also, NE's drafting track record over the last decade is pretty piss poor in spite of multiple top round draft picks that they accumulated with trades. I would rather have Baltimore as a team for comparison. They know how to draft good/great players.
  7. Another thing I have liked about this staff is that they have not come out in the press and made any ra-ra statements about their moves. They are simply making their roster quietly to how they like it. The only surprising roster moves they have not made is on Kelsay and Spencer Johnson.
  8. But Kelly also joined the Bills as a Mature player after a couple of years with the Gamblers.
  9. Good for us. May be Geno or Barkley indeed fall to the #8 spot. Or it allows us to get Wilson in Rd #2.
  10. QB Needy teams: Obvious Needs: 1. KC 2. Arizona 3. Buffalo 4. Jax 5. Jets Most-Likely Need: 1. Cleveland 2. Oakland (If they cut Palmer) Wouldn't mind an upgrade, especially a veteran like Alex Smith: 1. Titans (Inconsistent Locker) 2. Vikings (Inconsistent Ponder) 3. Eagles (Vick is signed through only for a year) The rest 22 teams already have their starting QB in place.
  11. And that may have played into the decision. Do you carry two potential starters into the season with serious questions marks about their ACLs?
  12. Our esteemed GM thought that QB was Fitzpatrick and WR was TJ Graham so that he chose not to pick a real QB instead of Graham. Our loss was Seattles gain.
  13. I am glad I don't have to go through that!!!
  14. And that is why the Fish and Jets have stunk along with us over the past few seasons. The Pats on the other hand still have Tom Brady and a bunch of good coaches, that keeps them in post season play. And after all someone HAS TO win the AFC East.
  15. Is that a compliment or a complaint about the Jills (lack of bust)!!!
  16. Not sure why this hatred for Barkley. Barkley himself quoted that he has never surfed in life. Let us first play some games in December that count before worrying about games in January.
  17. It tells me nothing...They could simply think that the draft is WR loaded and will find their player. or May be they think they can rejuvenate Marcus Easley (whom Gailey never gave a chance at the WR position) and TJ Graham. and one that will have a potential HOF QB behind center for the next decade too.
  18. Definitely Bill Cowher did the later !!!! May be he doesn't fit the scheme Marronne wants to run on Offense. Why is this such a big deal! Now he needs a SB winning QB to go with!!!
  19. I don't think it is the worst QB class by any stretch...It is simply that the talking heads don't see a "Blue Chip" player in this draft like a Andrew Luck. However, I actually think there are good QBs in this draft and is a very deep draft that you can find the similar caliber QB in Round 3 to 5. The Bills should pick Barkley in Rd 1 and if he is not available should pick a stud LB or WR and then pick their franchise QB in the 2nd or 3rd and may be another QB in Rd 5. +1 I am on the Matt Moore bandwagon too. He is a better player than Fitzpatrick.
  20. Fitz was a 7th round draft choice...meaning he was never a 1st round draft material. It is so foolish that people are comparing Barkley with Fitzpatrick. Barkley is the best and most complete QB from this draft. I simply don't see him lasting until #8th pick. Arizona or Cleveland will be all over him before us.
  21. And both are from the Bill Parcells tree!
  22. I hope this is not Eddie Robinson Version 2.0
  23. Comparing the Nelson situation to Washington is a little surprising. Washington was a proven player. Nelson on the other hand has been our 3rd WR. You got to give the new coaching staff to bring in their kind of players.
  24. +1. Whoever says Dalton is same as Fitz don't know what they are talking. Buddy also missed picking Kaepernick in that same round.
