  1. +1 The bills have yet to consistently beat good to great teams. So I am not surprised that our record against the SB opponents are 1-11. It aptly describes the divide in the talent and coaching of this team from rest of the NFL.
  2. There were on the Baltimore side 9 times and in the Redzone 6 times, came away with 1TD and 2 FG.
  3. To be honest, there are several dubious question marks on those Steelers 4 super bowls...There was rampant allegation of heavy steroid use by the Steelers.
  4. To be fair, he saw an open man in the end zone and threw it in. If you see that kind of opening, you take the chance every time. You get a TD with the play instead of a first down. Has any of the Patriots complained yet about the missed first down because the referee was in Tom Brady's path. That had to suck.
  5. One of the reasons for the Patriots winning those 3 SB was a great defense including a fearsome front-seven. They failed in the last two SB and the AFC Championships is because they have a pathetic defense. Today, Flacco toyed with that D in the 2nd half.
  6. I don't think they are tarnished one bit. They still won 3 Super Bowls and something like 10-11 AFC Eash Divison crown and 6 AFC Championships. All dynasties come to an end with a Thud and may be this is the beginning of the end of that era for the Patriots Please remember how Kelly ended his career (On the hard cold turf of RWS)
  7. You beat me to it...I think CJ and Byrd get in.
  8. It simply makes no sense. Your team lost fair and square. Why can't you man it up and be a professional. After all the game was in your own back yard. Classless Jerk. And even Hoody doesn't want to show up, why wouldn't Mr. Boston not show his face. Baltimore has been an overall better team than the Patriots in the past few years. They finally got over the hump...Amazing to go into New England and count out with a RESOUNDING victory.
  9. Why the ceremony inside the locker room. Is it because the Ravens are the visitors? Shoudln't the AFC Championship celebration be done on the field.
  10. Not having Gronk really hurt them and they probably did not use Hernandez well enough. Kudos to the Ravens defense for keeping it tight and hitting Brady hard every time. It definitely affected his rhythm.
  11. The Baltimore Management must be really kicking themselves hard....Flacco is going to make some real big money. He had an outstanding game....If not for Lee Evans, that would have been back-to-back trips to the Superbowl
  12. Why are the Ravens celebrating prematurely...There is still 2.05 to go and Ball in Brady's hands.
  13. Just 40 seconds off the clock on those 3 plays and one was a sack... Baltimore outsmarting itself. Good Field position for the Patriots
  14. The comparison was between Fitz and TJ. Between the two, the talent level is no different. However, the cost is significantly different.
  15. +1. I am on the Barley bandwagon. Unfortunately, I think this draft doesn't really have blue chip players at most of the positions.
  16. How many QBs has Andy turned into SB Champions - ZERO. McNabb was drafted in the top of the 1st round Andy Reid has had the same dubious record as Nix does with QBs.
  17. +1. However I don't think we will spend another 8-10M at the WR position, especially when we don't have a QB. The only incumbent WRs that we should take to camp should be SJ, Nelson and Graham.
  18. We really need to stop taking these ONE Year wonders. Patterson may have a great NFL career, but this Bills regime cannot start off on the wrong foot....They need a as sure pick as they can get. The Bills either pick a QB or stay put and a pick a LB or OL
  19. May be he really wants to be a HC and not dictate how to run the offense or defense. And when there is a really good one available in the market, why not make use of him. Norv doesn't believe in gadget plays and simply runs a power-offense. I believe the Browns have the right personnel on the OL to run such an offense and when you have a RB like Richardson, it is the most ideal fit considering what Turner has done with Smith, Ricky Williams etc.
  20. One difference though...Fitz would cost us 7.5M in actual cash next year (3M roster bonus and 4.5M in Salary). However, if Tavaris is simply given a chance to compete for a job, may be he re-signs for the same 2-3M for this year with incentives. At least you are getting a slightly cheaper QB.
  21. We got 2 out of 4. Now to get the QB and the LB.
  22. The difference was that we paid him somewhere between 1.7 to 2.5M, something you don't do when you draft a guy in the 6th round. And I think it is a big difference.
  23. And paid him somewhere between 1.7M to 2.5M to do just that :wallbash: Nix deserves to be kicked out of this organization for what he did to the QB situation over the past three years.
  24. That would be the right thing, as I don't see any one going after him.
  25. http://stripehype.com/2013/01/17/afc-north-browns-hire-norv-turner-finalize-coaching-staff/ Good move. Norv has some good toys to play with. Look for Richardson to have a career year. It also keeps Norv away from the NY Jets.
