  1. The Bills also picked Dareus @ #3, Spiller at 9
  2. I believe, ever since they put in the rookie salary cap, there has been a big number of draft day trades on the 1st round... Here is link to 2012 draft info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_NFL_Draft There were 7 trades for 1st round swaps on Day 1. Similarly, there were 5 trades in the 1st round on Day 1 in 2011 (Which was the first year of the Rookie Salary Cap). This will be a trend and I expect there will be a similar # of draft day trades on day 1.
  3. Agree. The Bills do not have many picks to fill all the holes and also would not want to give up next years 1st Rd. They will pick their QB in Rd 1 and most likely it will be Barkley.
  4. +1. Barkley all the way. When you have the chance to draft a possible franchise QB, you have to take a shot at it. None of these QBs will be available at #41.
  5. Why ? If we are 1-11 going into those 4 games, why do those games matter. I think in the NFL every game is a defining game. +1
  6. Why wouldn't you. The team has only 6 draft picks and hence using two (or more) picks to trade up means they have less players to draft to fill holes. I would rather stay put, pick the QB of choice with Rd1 and then use the remaining 5 picks to address the rest.
  7. And neither did we in any of those three years and still passed on them too.
  8. +1. When you are part of a winning program, such things are so simple and easy.
  9. And so would Patterson
  10. And the draft could be misleading if they went offense all the way in the 1st 3-4 rounds!! Are a huge smokescreen!
  11. The problem is that it is simply hard to evaluate. Losman and Edwards were given difficult tasks by changing OC every year. They were simply not going to be consistent. To make it worse, the team did not field a good defense, a young QB's best friend!.....We will never know how good these guys could have been if the team had a coaching staff that was consistent for a few years.
  12. I think with the way rookie salary caps are established, it is fairly easy in today's NFL to take QBs in the 1st round in back-to-back years. That is why I think Cleveland will be part of the QB Derby this year. They can deal with a Weeden as a bust.
  13. Nassib is not lasting till the 3rd round when there are at least 5 QB needy teams ahead of us in each round of the draft (Jax, Oakland, Cleveland, Arizona, Jets)
  14. Why? It is one of the best cities to drive around...Every part of the city is very well connected and there are two major highways PA Turnpike and I-79 going through the city (not downtown). The views from Mt. Washington are spectacular. The museums in the city are the hidden treasures of this lovely city (Carnegie Science Center, Natural History etc). Kennywood is a nice family-friendly theme park right in the heart of the city....
  15. Yes. to the game against the Redskins a few years ago....When Edwards beat them in the 4th Qtr with some magical throws to Evans and Reed.
  16. That would be Carson street on the South Side, a 5 minute cab ride or a 10 minute walk across the bridge. Of course there are a lot of cops crawling in that area too! +1
  17. People love to re-write history in hindsight!
  18. And blue chip players for both that position will be gone by #8. They would need to get that Cleveland or Arizona pick.
  19. And don't forget to get a sandwich in Primanti Brothers!!! The walk along the river from the Steeler Stadium to PNC Park is very nice.
  20. And Luck > Fitzpatrick was the difference in the Win (or a Loss for us) last year.
  21. Austin is a 5' 7" midget who will get crushed in the NFL. Patterson is a one year wonder. After being bit by Aaron Maybin 1-year wonder, I will pass. The Bills have plenty of choices on WR later in this draft.
  22. Does yours come with the Bells and Whistles, not to mention Four Lamar Hunt Trophies in the back seat !!!
