  1. Do you think pushing the Draft by 3 weeks next year will eliminate this lull in between mini-camp and training camp ?
  2. And for paying Merriman and for over paying Kelsay all these years!
  3. How do you spend 6 months of your life in the Cold Tundra !!! I remember Trent Edwards arranging weekly gathering at his home with Poz, Peters etc....They wanted to build a camraderie. Also, to Losman's benefit, he had a 1-on-1 tutoring by the guy who invented the K-Gun.
  4. His career record against the Bills is something like 4-1
  5. +1. And why shouldn't a college give a 2nd chance to a felon to get his act together. Why punish 100s of reformed people for the sake of dealing with a few that continue to behave in their old ways. There is an old saying: I would rather free the bad person then wrongly punish the good person. That is one of the strong reasons for not having death penalty in many states in the US and in many countries across the world.
  6. Don't underestimate the front-seven that Reed played behind. That fearsome front-7 made up of Lewis, Suggs and Ngata can allow Reed to freelance a lot more and make more plays. Troy Polamalu has similarly benefited with the front-7 in Pittsburgh.
  7. Travis Henry ? Not sure if the # is counted if he was a former player or counts only against your current team/
  8. Good choices. For me, it is EJ Manuel, Scott Chandler and CJ Spiller on Offense and Mario Williams on Defense. 1. EJ, because we all want him to be our Franchise QB for the next decade. We have suffered for 13 years...Enough is enough. 2. Spiller - He is the most amazing player and a game changer to wear a Bills Uniform since the Bills drafted a guy from Oklahoma about 24 years ago. 3. Chandler - A TE is the best friend and weapon for a rookie QB learning on the Fly. They are also their best friends on the sidelines....Chandler can keep EJ Upright and keep the chains moving. 3A. Mario - Mario needs to show the consistency to dominate games. If he does and provides a pass rush, I think the Bills can have more 3-outs and not give up first downs on 3-10s.
  9. Thank god it did not get to that point.
  10. Not to forget both teams managed to get extremely Good Running Backs to help out those rookie QBs
  11. And then there is a guy who posts on every Monday for 17 weeks and gives 10 different opinions about players/coaches/plays/emotions and we thank him for that...While we may not agree with everyone of his comments, it is a pleasurable read and a good discussion thread even if it was a loss. Thanks Bill for doing that. Agreed...Big Ben had a big outlet in Heath Miller, Tom Brady has always had great TEs to help him out, RGIII has Fred Davis etc..
  12. And there will be injuries in camp. WRs are prone to pulling their groins or hamstrings....
  13. It is one think to heal faster for athletes, but another to get them in game-shape. I am sure he is likely to go on PUP (They have to make that decision on starting of training camp ?) and miss the first six games. I think the Pats are going to go back to the market and resign Brandon Lloyd to get the continuity. 12/29, last game of the season. Hopefully, we will be playing for the AFC East crown and crush them once for a change....It will also be our first win at Foxboro at the new stadium
  14. I guess if the Police don't have the facts to back it up, what you said would be true. In today's age, people are not found as guilty if there is no factual evidence of committing a crime. I don't know if criminals are getting better at wiping out evidence or Police/Crime Investigators are simply not good at beating the Criminals at their own games. We see so many shows on TV like CSI, Dexter etc and yet it appears the local police don't have any solid evidence against him.
  15. I think Eric Moulds was a good player for the Bills and so were many others during this wretched era. We just did not have a good Front Office and Coaching staff to put it all together.
  16. Can't agree any more. Schoebel was one of the few top-level productive player in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills in the 2000's. He never gets his due. He was our sole pass rusher all those years and never got much support other than the years played by Spikes.
  17. I hope so. This is the same way we hoped last season when Wanny was picked after firing Edwards. We all thought Wanny was the missing puzzle and he can turn this 'all-star' cast into a dominating defense...In the end, he was even more horrible. There was no Rhythm, no consistency or effort on that team. I hope Pettine brings on a different attitude to this team.
  18. Since he may be booked for "Obstruction of Justice" I am sure he will get a plea deal similar to Ray Lewis and back and playing for the Patriots in September.
  19. Recently, the Patriots have actually beaten the Bills by RUNNING the football. Brady impact has been average to ok.
  20. And Brady's sitting on his A** on the turf of RWS. Recap from the game: http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=230907002 BTW, Sam Adam's TD was a 37-yard Return...Freaking almost half the field.....
  21. And we had a bunch of New defensive players besides Milloy on that team starting for the first time...And one was a beast on that day...Takeo Spikes!
  22. I believe Moulds is part of a group of players participating in a NFL program for media broadcasting. As part of the program exercise, these folks must go live on the air and that is what they did. There is a blog from Chris Brown on this on Buffalo Bills web site. One Mr. Aaron Schoebel may disagree.
  23. My only question is: What have they added to stop the Run. We still have the same front four + Branch.
  24. If that is the case, why would the Bills Tag him ? Wouldn't they have traded him at the Draft time and collected additional picks for a team sorely lacking in talent in multiple positions ? It just doesn't add up.
