  1. And when you look at this comparison with 2016, it is obvious that there were too many cooks and no leader on this team. http://buffalonews.com/2017/01/20/updating-bills-coaching-staff-sean-mcdermott/ Every position had multiple assistants indicating either that the head was not doing his job or too many assistants with too many ideas. This alone should help improve.
  2. I can see Eric Wood adjusting his salary. It is also not a given that Aaron Williams will be on the field in the Fall. Also Corey Graham may become a cap casualty
  3. Greg Roman came in here as an OC knowing that his QBs were Manuel and Tyrod.
  4. No thank you. AVP sucked as a OC here
  5. If Kyle left the building, wouldn't the Falcons make LaFluer the OC?
  6. I only wish he would take on a leadership role and bring the others on the team together. Of course it does require talent and we lacked it on the offensive side at the WR position.
  7. His players did not help him...took crappy penalties and dropped catchable passes. The defense did its job of keeping the Steelers offense at bay. This loss is on the players on the offense (with credit to the Steelers defense)
  8. I think that is a big "If". With marginal talent in this draft at the QB position, Whaley will not be given the opportunity to pick a QB at the top of the draft. Whaley has too many holes to fill and will not get a 3-year cushion to develop a QB that he drafts.
  9. The Rams have to let Goff develop and are unlikely to bring Romo in. The only other place that might have interest is the Browns. A dark horse here could be Jacksonville if the Jaguars decide that Bortles is NOT the guy
  10. Do you have anyone in mind whom the Bills will draft at the QB position. I understand we have a pretty weak class this year. This team invested in Cardale and have to give him an opportunity before throwing him to the side. I think the Bills re-sign Tyrod that will effectively be a 2-year contract and then develop Jones How to teach Tyrod to not hold on to the ball for too long.
  11. John, I don't see us drafting a QB this year in a weak draft. THey would have to draft someone who is better than Jones. I think Jones will get better with a full off season program and might surprise everyone in camp
  12. Tyrod will get the same 15-20 from a QB desperate team. It is in Bills interest to trigger his contract.
  13. Agree...The patriots have a pretty stingy defense too
  14. A team in London will be ahead of Toronto or Mexico City.
  15. Well put. I want Tyrod on this team on opening day of training camp
  16. Other than his couple of years with the 49ers, Marty has done nothing in this league.
  17. They are actually good and light hearted comedy in the morning while commuting to work.
  18. That is the hard part when you take some time off...It is hard to come back into the NFL. The only one who made comebacks after a long time was Dick Vermeil and he was not very successful.
  19. It started in 2000 Jan. Quite a long running and successful show.
  20. Ironically he is likely to be replaced in Baltimore by Greg Roman!!!!!=
  21. We had one of the worst secondaries!
  22. Finding a franchise QB is a crapshoot. I will not hold that against the GM. For the success of every Carr or Prescott, there are tens of failures drafted in similar rounds or even higher. There are too many variables in getting a franchise QB. Best moves have been re-signing Glenn and signing Incognito in Free Agency. These two along with Wood have really solidified the OL. Even the Miller draft pick has been an excellent choice. To defend Whaley, he drafted and dipped in FA on the defensive side to give Ryan a chance to build his bully. Ryan failed.
  23. will he the second coming of Gus Bradley ?
  24. Four teams with Franchise QBs....that is what keeps taking them back to the Super Bowls!!!!!
