Beg to differ. They couldn't create holes for the Running Game. Since Josh stayed in the pocket for most of the game, they were not asked to do too much.
It would be Andy. He made a bold move of shipping his veteran QB Alex Smith to the Nations Capital and went with a Sophomore QB who had played exactly in One NFL game. They put a lot of faith in the QB's ability and made a huge gamble that paid off. Andy deserves to be the coach of the year.
He does have a Franchise QB and a cornerstone on his DL. Makes things easier for the coach. He struggled as an interim HC for the Bills
The biggest gripe with Daboll is his inability to get Shady going. A great RB is the best friend for a young QB. This crap of putting everything on Josh's shoulder is way too much to ask the rookie. Daboll should put Shady in space instead of trying to run between tackles all the time. At least they can use his ability to catch the ball and run...this is what NE does day in day out
hindsight is 20-20...If Buffalo News had written this article 2 years ago at the time the Bills passed on Frank Reich, I would have given them credit.
Anyways, the sample size for going 5-1 is too small to suddenly think that Reich is the next McVay
