No facemask call on Josh's 4th down run.
ganesh replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We are already a winner. We have made the playoffs with 2 games to spare and we played the defending champions tough in their own building. -
Daboll and ST have been saving something.

Run Run and more Run -
Involve Singletary in the game. Don't put the entire game on Josh Allen's shoulder. Involve Kroft. He is a huge target
-
I wouldn't say we are yet.. Our offense is on par with theem Our Defense is on par with them Their ST is BETTER than ours
-
Pretty sure we want KC to win out

We really can't identify opponents in the playoffs. They are the 4 divisional winners and all of them are good to great teams. They all pose a unique match up problem that needs to be countered. And all 3 phase of the game has to shine as otherwise we will be beat. The QBs in the AFC side in the playoffs are: - Tom Brady - Lamar Jackson - Watson - Mahomes If Josh Allen makes mistakes, these four QBs will make you pay. -
Agreed. In the past when we had Franchise QBs in Losman, E.J etc, they failed to be that "game manager" to support a good/great defense. Josh knows exactly how to do that. Once the confidence on him keeps increasing the lower % plays will come out of the bag; the accuracy will increase etc. Right now thee only thing asked of Josh is to win the game by not committing turnovers

Agreed Gore is there because he doesn't cough up the ball. You can't have Singletary and Yeldon fumbling the ball together! Agree. Kroft is an accomplished NFL TE and that experience matters in Dec/January. We can still play Knox and Kroft and bench Lee Smith, If Mckenzie plays, Foster or Duke have to be inactive. This Duke fascination really fascinates me. Do you think the coaches don't see these guys playing in practice to make that decision. The only way I see Duke playing is by making DeMarco inactive. That is Not happening. We don't have another Tackle on the roster. Practice the deep passes more with Brown, Singletary and Foster

2017 revisited...McDermott or ALynn for HC??
ganesh replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rivers is overrated. I think Ben and Eli from that QB group have had much better careers. -
Bills are in good company as to passing plays % per game

He is averaging 2 TDs a game for the last 10 weeks -
Bills not Browns breakout team of the year
ganesh replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The difference between the two teams is the Head Coach...One is over his head and the other has COMPLETE control of his football team. That is the difference between the 6-8 and 10-4 teams. -
Joe B All-22 vs Steelers - Cody Ford has best game at RT
ganesh replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We could go WR, CB or DE in Round one. Wee need Round 1 talent at those positions -
Bills top 10 in offensive explosive plays
ganesh replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But they have NOT defined what is an explosive play. It is quite subjective otherwise -
Yes they were..They did have the best defense in Football captained by Ray Lewis.

McDremott calling defensive plays in last 2 minutes
ganesh replied to todd's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was asking the Gatorade drum to be ready...He wanted to be drenched in Gatorade afteer the win. After all, he is the ego-maniacal HC who wants everyone to follow his process ? -
Moving forward: We need to do something about Gore
ganesh replied to Brianmoorman4jesus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The problem also is that Gore is in the game when every play is a running play and he doesn;'t have thee prior speed to overrun these guys. When we played him heavily in thee NE game, he was effective running the ball -
PTI- Tony admits he was wrong about Coach McDermott
ganesh replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But they have been running this show on Radio and then TV for now over 25 years !! (First local Station in Washington, then National Radio on ESPN and the TV show) -
The Bills are in the playoffs with TWO full weeks of regular season to still go....When have we been in that POSITION... Go Bills!

McDermott is establishing himself as an elite HC
ganesh replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everything is tied with the growth of Josh Allen. If Allen succeeds McDermott will too and both will remain here for a long time. Every sign points to that success. Both of them work hard and committed to the process. -
3rd in yards/gm 3rd in Passing Yards/gm 10th in Rushing yards/gm 2nd in Pts/gm (15.9) 6th in 3rd Down Conversion Rate (35%) 7th in Fumbles generated (24) 8th in INTs (13) 3rd in TDs given (27 TDs) 11Rush, 13 Passing 7th in Sacks (42 sacks) Pretty much every category is in the books for this top-10 defense. !!!!

Yestereday, the Steelers were repeatedly trying to punch the ball off everyone's grip a lot more than we were accustomed to..It was quite unusual..

It is a 2-way street. JA needs the ball in his hand to be in a rhythm, He plays really well when you don't ask him to throw 1 out of every 3 downs. However, the Bills coaching staff is focused on eliminating mistakes and play the grind it football. JA is a good team player to play both models, but he is out of sync in the latter. It is what it is...May be they will let it loose next yaer...may bee the coaching staff doeen't believe JA is ready yet. Our passing offense is 28th in the league...indeed in the bottom 5..However that is not JA fault.

The Bills beat a good team. Good and Bad From The Game
ganesh replied to BuffBills51's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This was the difference between the Browns game and yesterday's game. With the Steelers driving, we did not let off the pressure and put Duck under duress and came away with those INTs even when they gave a couple of big plays. Against the Browns, the defense played soft and took the pressure of Mayfield and that resulted in a dink-and-dunk offense and a game winning TD. The coaches learned from that game and have played confident. -
I think the AFC is wide open and any team is going to beat anybody at home or on the road. It is really exciting...It doesn't matter who we are going to play. It is very unlikely to be Baltimore.

Is Josh Allen A Good Quarterback??? (Good Film Breakdown)
ganesh replied to Scorp83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even Chris Collingswoth made the comment yesterday that Josh is really a Good QB with great skill sets. He just needs to work on the *SMALL* things that make the biggest difference. He sees a long career for Josh in Buffalo
