  1. While it's not uncommon, most of the top RBs in the league were higher picks. Devalued or not, there is still a necessity to have a good RB on the roster, if not multiple.
  2. Anderson will be with the team to some capacity. Those here having a pissing match about whether it will be on the roster or as a coach are ridiculous. DOESNT MAKE A LICK OF DIFFERENCE WHAT CAPACITY ANDERSON RETURNS IN!
  3. Reading through this thread, I am curious, if Singletary had every attribute, measurable, and lack of holes if people think he would have lasted until the third round?
  4. I would have hoped the whole size arguement wouldnt have any traction here. How have people not watched this league and realize elite players come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Players win in different ways.
  5. This is the type of pick, where the same people complaining, would be flipping out if our backs play poorly and he flourished elsewhere. The Bills did get suckered in by the run on backs, but they landed arguably the most elusive back in the class.
  6. A stud based on what? Let's be honest, how much do truly know of these kids outside what the media has been telling you? How much do you know of them outside of YouTube highlight reels?
  7. Is this the same front office as in years past?
  8. See what happens is, it was once the in thing to mock Buffalo regardless... now it's not the in thing to do anymore. Yet, guys like Benoit are still trying to rag on the Bills. Exposing that he either knows zero about football or is just trying to rag on the Bills like a clown.
  9. The plan is to add talent, it's simple, you are choosing to muddle it.
  10. So in turn, every player that has ever busted is a cautionary tale for pretty much every archetype. Well played.
  11. Depends how much people wanna read the tea leaves on what Murphy truly knows.
  12. The Bills draft two incredibly raw, but immensely high ceiling players in the first last year. They liked the potential so much they even traded up. Hence why not many people linked Buffalo to Edmunds, it was assumed Edmunds would be going higher than where our second first rounder was. Back to the original point, if you gauge Beane based on last year, its evident a player like Metcalf is exactly the type hed gamble on.
  13. Yet, they turned around and gave up assets and money to a 31 year old head case WR. So, it's not out of the possibility they look to pursue Clark.
  14. No its not. Draft chart really doesnt really apply when the fall off in talent is evident after the top 15 or so.
  15. Oliver over Hock all day. However, if the Bills did go offense in any capacity, I'd prefer Hock. Hock Jonah Taylor Metcalf Ford... in that order of which offensive player makes the most sense for Buffalo.
  16. Again, we hear this almost every year. Not necessarily always from the Bills, but just seems like everyone wants to add more picks around the league. That being said, I have zero issue moving down and accumulating more capital, but we also have ten picks to begin with, with all the FA signings, come a point where bot all of these guys will make the team... and to get a proper e v a l on that many young players while trying to acclimate the upwards of 16 FAs... To me, I'd rather move up in this class and try and land Quinnen/Oliver.
  17. So, to me you are saying there is only one way to win in the NFL. That there is a mold a player must fit in order to succeed? Moreover, if you truly watched Oliver, and realize just how dominant he was being miscast as NT. To say Oliver won't succeed to to basically ignore the fact that the game is constantly evolving, as are the types of players skill sets and how they are utilized in the NFL. Afterwards we can discuss how undersized Deon Buccanon is as a LB. Or maybe just acknowledge the aforementioned consistent evolution of what can be successful in the NFL when there is obvious talent.
  18. So, in that case, Jerry Hughes is Maybin as well?
  19. If thats a good enough pass rush tandem for you, might want to elevate your standards.
  20. I'll put money on, not only is Metcalf available at nine, but hell be available into the teens and might not even be the first WR taken.
  21. Hock Jonah Burns In that order of who you take if the draft falls this way
  22. The second best pure pass rusher in the draft, but can he be a three down DE?!?!
  23. I think someone like J Jaw, who I believe caught the most contests passes last season (according to PFF) would be an ideal prospect for us. The one thing I factor in Foster Brown Beasley are all presumed locks to make this roster Zay I'd say 70/30 stays to goes... Roberts to me is a lock unless the wheels totally come off his career. So, if Buffalo is to draft another WR... how much emphasis do they put on that player potentially having to be able to contribute on ST; in order to justify their roster spot. In turn, do you select a different style WR that has a similar grade?
  24. So, stats is what we base players off of?
  25. By best competition... you mean Stephen F. Austin-2 sacks Kentucky- 2 sacks Kansas State- 1 sack Louisiana Tech- 1 sack Ole Miss- 1.5 sacks... basically more than half the kids sacks came against inferior competition. Add three sacks in one game against an 8-5 Auburn team, which was impressive, but really the only team that is of legit comp that he showed out against this season. Amari Cooper Derrick Henry Dre Kirkpatrick Kareem Jackson Marlon Humphrey Minkah Fitzpatrick Calvin Ridley
