Its entirely possible Ford doesnt start right away, its entirely possible Ford doesnt see much time at all. However, that to me will be indicative of the talent ahead of him, and not so much predicated on his abilities. There were some that thought Ford was among the best OTs in the entire class. Hard to imagine the kid just goes belly up.

Would Bills Fans Cheer an Injured Opponent?
BillsFan17 replied to judman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The scene is 2008, the Seahawks are at the Bills for the home opener. Pollard takes out Brady's knee, reports he tore his ACL verberate through the Ralph. Bills fans AND Seahawks fans were literally high fiving eachother. I had fans in my section buying eachother beers in celebration. To act like this is mutually exclusive to just one fan base is stupid. Is it a bad look, yes, but to act like only Toronto does it... -
Joe B: Ed Oliver looking the part

Player does well in practice, dont crown em yet. Player does poorly in practice, and hes a bust! I thoroughly enjoy those who boil it down so black and white. -
Eddie Lacy with the Bills?
BillsFan17 replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Back in April Lacy worked out for the Ravens, but that's the last I have seen him linked to an NFL team. -
Bills could face Daniel Jones week 2
BillsFan17 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Other than Mahomes, who was sitting behind a highly effective Alex Smith at the time, its pretty rare a rookie sits the entire season. Especially if the NY media starts laying it on thick if Manning flops early. That being said, idc who the QB is... quads is going to be an effin task all day long. -
What's next for the 2018 QBs - ESPN
BillsFan17 replied to Heitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What does Gase's resume have to do with Brian Daboll? How has the discussion veered towards that? Gase's qualifications are called into question, if you want to discuss Daboll we can, but that not the subject at hand. Nor does Daboll's credentials, in any way, shape or form dictate Gase's credentials (or lack there of). They are mutually exclusive. Moreover, the original point, to which I stated Gase did nothing special, you tell me did, I point out again that Gase did nothing special, to which you tell me because the players were "crap." So, back to my original point, the man is no QB whisperer or guru, if he had been hed have accomplished more with them. -

Look at the stats of the guys you are saying he transformed into these miraculous studs. None of them are stat lines you would want for Josh Allen. Moreover, using his lone playoff season with Tannehill is like saying Dennison is a bonafide QB coach for getting to the playoffs with Taylor/Peterman -

None of what Gase got out if Tebow and Cutler is newsworthy, yet here we are acting like googley eyes is some sort of whisperer. The Jets as a whole are a joke and Darnold might be too good to ruin, but... -

I still dont get why Gase is considered a QB guru -
I dont think this predicates whether or not LJ will succeed. There are too much emphasis put on there being one path and one path only to success. Granted, yes you need to know the playbook. No one is saying that you can free wheel it all the time and win, however, there are players who work better playing off script. Patrick Mahomes won the MVP, doing things mostly off script and remarkable on the fly type of decisions. To me, the onus is more on Roman to tailor the offense to LJ and not force LJ into an offense that he cant flourish in. That being said, I'm not overly high on LJ to begin with and dont think hell be an overly good all around QB. I think hell have success, but once teams figure him out, hell be a worse version of Tyrod. Yet, Allen absolutely does need to polish his accuracy. To assume hes perfectly fine in that area is wrong. I will agree that, judging Allen's success on whether or not he completes 65% of his passes isnt the best way to assess the type of player Josh is. Yet, there is still work to be done in that area without a doubt.

Some more Ed Oliver titbits
BillsFan17 replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its funny, that we still use measurables to translate success. Yes, you want the athletics to mesh with off the chart measurables... however, we have seen the league transition and have seen all types of players flourish. I mean, Aaron Donald was undersized for his position when drafted, until he wasnt because of his dominant play. End of the day, quality players will shine regardless.- 128 replies

In no way, shape, or form does that mean fans dont enjoy the content. I never said they werent a potential burden on the teams, but that the popularity of it proves that fans like that type of behind the scenes content. There is nothing to argue with someone who said fans only engage in games, then they to argue with the organizations not liking to do it. Again, you said fans engage I games and not the additional content. I proved you wrong and you couldn't counter with anything intelligent.

You arent overly intelligent are you

So you know for a fact it wasnt healed?

Ohhhh... okay.
-
Your stance was that fans only engage in games. I point out shows like Hard Knocks are proof fans enjoy the behind the scenes, and you counter with the organizations not wanting to participate. Makes total sense.

Is DT Gerald McCoy done in Tampa?

So, shows like Hard Knocks do so well...

Jets trade Darron Lee to Chiefs
BillsFan17 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a bad, bad, bad trade. Yes, Buffalo traded Dareus for a sixth, but it's because the previous regime overpaid a clearly unmotivated Dareus. Lee was only making a shade over 2 per... there was nothing to be gained selling him low. -
Absolutely lazy ass take. The league is shifting towards guys who can create seperation. This draft class lacked guys who could separate and separate consistently. Hence the way the draft played out, and where these players were in fact drafted. Williams is a low risk, potential high reward if his game can translate to the NFL. Moreover, it not like the Bills only snagged Williams and are trying to trot him out as their starter. They made a multitude if moves at the skill position to open up the offense.

Jets fire GM Mike Maccagnan, name Adam Gase interim GM
BillsFan17 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We didnt let Whaley spend millions on top of millions in free agency. Also Whaley, while him and his staff were around for reference, McDermott ran that draft.
