This offense was doomed from the start
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with most of what u said except for Cook is only a situational back and he can’t carry the load . We need a true workhorse back plain and simple… Coaching is the difference Dorsey is horrible. -
People here amaze me how much they lack actual football intelligence. There’s more to the game then just throwing the football u need balance u need a threat other then your QB. If the Bills don’t invest in a elite type running back weather it’s via draft , trade or free agency they would be making a awful mistake. We already have been running Josh Allen to the ground physically and mentally he has to much pressure on him to be great every time he’s on the field. We all can agree that we want Allen to have a full career and last for at least 15yrs playing at a high level if we don’t protect him with Oline play and elite running game he won’t last to yr 10. The advantage of having a true threat at tailback also will help greatly with schemes and the way defenses approach playing u. If teams want to drop 7/8 men into coverage we can just hand off the ball and Pk up 7, 8 yards a carry . Defensive coordinators hate getting run on more then anything else and will do whatever it takes to not get run over by there opponents it’s demoralizing and it wears the defense down. I believe the Bills need to upgrade there offensive line and Wrs this off-season but they also need a true 3 down back that has power and speed to attack the defense on all angles. Adding an elite tailback will also help our WRS and passing more then u can imagine and can make this offense deadly for there opponents. Especially in the playoffs where we play in bad weather conditions we have something that’s very hard to defend we need to build for our environment. Now this doesn’t mean can’t throw the ball 35/40 times a game we still can be a pass first team but when we run those 18-25 plays we can put stress on our opponents..

Bill O’Brien - thoughts about him as OC?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I said the same thing and I agree. O’Brien is also very comparable to Daboll in that he runs the Erhardt Perkins system which is what Allen is very familiar with and has excelled at during his time with Daboll. He also will bring symmetry with the running game because Dorsey seems to like heavily in that department. -
An Assessment and Going Forward (after taking a breath)
NastyNateSoldiers replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Edmunds has to go we can’t afford to pay him 15-20 mil per no way he’s not worth it. He was exposed yesterday the Bengals attacked him all day . His instincts are piss poor and he’s horrible in physical games. -
I want Frazier gone but is this just his defense or is McD part of it? I think we should be pointing the firing cannons at both…

Beane’s mediocre draft record
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Shanahan's Horseshoe's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree, I guess some people don’t like the truth around here. Beane is borderline average at drafting in top 3 rds of draft. His players are not monumental busts but none are elite either. He does his best work in rds 4-7 . This team desperately needs some talent in the trenches . We’re not built for the weather conditions in yesterday game. -
Thoughts on the pass defense?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Bermuda Triangle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree and most likely after the 2nd rd is over they start looking at smaller school guys with athletic traits and scheme fit players. Guys like Maxx Crosby and Trey Hendrickson come to mind . On another note I think Best edge rushers come from the big 10 & big 12 conference especially in the later rds of draft. -
Thoughts on the pass defense?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Bermuda Triangle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Damn shame considering how much draft capital and money we spent on the position. Epenesa and Basham were horrible pks that never amounted to nothing. It seems to me a DE is drafted in the 2nd rd there usually jag type players. I know there’s later rd guys that’s become stars but the 2nd rd guys usually never good I don’t know why. -
I believe Josh McDaniels was 1 of the people I seen that made a contribution to Hamlin go fund me page . The Raiders also hate the Chiefs and would love to send them to the wildcard game and knock them off the #1 seed. They also took the Chiefs to OT this yr they lost 30-27 . I have a feeling the Raiders will pull this game off and win on a last second 55yd FG by Carlson 31-30 score. LFG Raiders!

He’s due to lose, let’s get Raiders.

What Bengals & Chiefs fans are saying about the situation:
NastyNateSoldiers replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
U better believe this Saturday I’ll be cheering for the Raiders as if they were the Bills . I’m tired of these Chiefs fans and the Chiefs in general. Let’s go Raiders beat these #######s. -
The best idea is probably to give the entire league a week off this is a NFL issue not just the Bills . After that call the Bills Bengals game a complete wash no nobody gets a win or loss . Once they proceed with week 18 the KC vs Raiders game needs to also be canceled therefore they won’t play an extra game then the Bills . This has to be the most fair way to proceed because it still gives the teams behind the Pats a chance to make the playoffs and it sets up Balt vs Cinny for the AFC north title and gives the Bills there chance at winning the conference and home field advantage.

Josh McDaniels doesn’t rule out benching Derek Carr
NastyNateSoldiers replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Isn’t fun for u to act like u know football when u obviously don’t? Carr is a 3 time pro bowl QB has thrown for over 35,000 yds in his career . Last season he lead his team to 7 come back victories and almost defeated the Bengals on the road in the wildcard game. Since 2015 he has the most 4th quarter comeback victories in the NFL (23) and most game winning drives (29) . He’s a good QB NOT GREAT NOT ELITE do u know the difference? -

He’s a top 15 QB that’s good -

NastyNateSoldiers replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s definitely a good QB not great or elite but good yes. Looks like he didn’t fit McDaniels system very well he had a off year but that doesn’t mean he’s not good -
Should we go after Josh Jacobs?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cook is looking good but he can never be a 3 down back in the NFL with his size he won’t last so he needs a strong big back to complement him and Jacobs is that and then some. I would love to get McDaniels as OC as well if he gets fired from the Raiders . McDaniels runs the same passing concepts as Daboll ran with the Bills the Erhardt Perkins offense but he even has better run schemes then Daboll had . I realize McDaniels is a horrible head coach but he would be a massive upgrade over Dorsey and it helps that Josh Allen has flourished in that Perkins Erhardt system . 2- 3rd rd picks and 1 2nd in 4yrs is a lot of investment if u ask me -

Why do u wanna see a good QB go to the Dolphins there our competition? -
Of course there gonna say that’s there best player on the board. Everybody and the mother knew Humphrey would of been the better pick at that time. Mof most of us here and Bills fans in general was shocked that Boogie was the pick. I was in complete shock especially after taking Epenesa the previous yr with our highest Pk in the draft that made it 3 DEs picked in a row in the 1st & 2nd rd of back to back drafts. I’ve never seen a team do that for any position in my 25 plus yrs of following the NFL draft. The point is at the end of the day that was a horrible pick and what happened we got Shaq for cheap and he’s better then Epenesa and Boogie. U know that’s not good business to continue to draft at one position leaving the rest of your team in need of young talent.
