Meanwhile Chevron and the super majors are enjoying another record year of profits. Bonus checks get cut early March. I know I am looking forward to it. -

I'm still trying to figure out how Biden single handedly caused global inflation at rates which dwarf what we are seeing domestically. -
What is better, no guns, or more guns?
Jauronimo replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Strangely enough, I believe gun violence in the 1920s due to the availability of the Thompson gun was the beginning of the gun control debate in this country. https://www.npr.org/2016/06/30/484215890/prohibition-era-gang-violence-spurred-congress-to-pass-first-gun-law -
That would be a shame since the Sabres' home ice advantage has been pivotal to their success this year...

Great measurables, injury concern, and not enough college production is exactly what NFL busts are made of. He was the clear third option at Ole Miss and his stats reflect that. How do you reconcile can't miss NFL star with 9th WR off the board?

What are some good, easy meals my wife can’t screw up?

Chilean seabass is a patagonian toothfish, post rebranding in the 80s. Apart from that change in labeling, much of the seafood we get is fraudulently mislabeled. https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/07/health/fish-mislabeling-investigation-oceana/index.html Not as bad as seafood but it happens with steak too. A flat iron, some meat glue and a bit of extra effort can easily pass for filet. -

Like filling your basement with freeze dried meals, guns, and seeds or basic mise en place and knife skills? It sounds silly, but everyone starting out cooking should youtube "how to chop...." every common vegetable and aromatic. Basic knife skills save so much time in the kitchen. Pre-measuring all your ingredients is clutch for general organization and any fast moving dish like stir fries. -

Braises and stews are always delicious and very hard to screw up. They take time, but most of the time is inactive as your meat slow cooks. Quick, easy and delicious, get a quality thai curry paste like Mae Ploy or Maesri, some coconut milk, veggies and meat and you've got a nice meal in 30 mins or less. -
The quick response by Krebs and Quinn was huge. It is still highly concerning how the last 3 games a strong performance has managed to spiral out of control in a matter of 2 or 3 minutes of game play. Credit to the Sabres for getting back in control of that game and not allowing another goal but you can't let the Ducks and other bottom feeders explode like that. I dont like our playoff chances if the winning recipe requires 6 goals a night.

It looked like we were playing on hard mode most of the year. KC, San Fran, Philly scheme guys wide open while our offense is just "Allen go do crazy *****!".

Anderson let in some softies and the comically bad goal last night after a fluky bounce but the whole team went into panic mode after giving up two quick goals. The second half of the second period looked like 6 Carter Huttons out there all listening to the Brown Note being blasted over the PA. Two straight games where "total loss of composure" does not even begin to describe the epic pants pooping that occurred. Before Cozens mercifully got us on the board they had allowed 12 unanswered goals.

No Frazier, Beane, McD, or Hamlin either.... -
Bienemy does not play well with others.

9 penalties were assessed for 47 yards total.

"Just give it to them!" The rule changes have introduced more subjectivity into the game but I think that has gotten better the last 2 years. I believe we kinda know what a catch is and now we are near 100% on fumble vs incomplete pass. People love to B word about RTP but I am thankful we aren't watching Case Keenum vs Chad Henne in January.

I would be shocked if that wasn't the original plan before Kanye went full Hitler.

The resolution wasn't clear enough to see the football and instant replay was barely a thing so no one really had the tools to dissect the officiating the way they do today. But yes, the officiating was every bit as bad back then or worse. https://www.barstoolsports.com/blog/1159153/on-this-date-in-sports-november-29-1998-just-give-it-to-them ....and the air was fresher back then, and freedom was sweeter, and cats and dogs played in the streets in perfect harmony.....but everything is different now and thats bad!

Winning teams hire the coaches children to assistant positions. The fact that neither Madeline or Gavin is holding a clipboard is a real indictment on McD as a coach and a father.

Breaking: TBD's investigative journalists have uncovered signs of cronyism in NFL coaching circles. Evidence suggests nearly every hire involved a prior relationship with an existing member of the staff. News at 10, February 9, 1966.
