  1. I'm ok with Okposo and Girgs coming back solely because our other lines offer nothing in the way of physicality. If all three lines are filling the net then theres no issue, but if you arent producing you have to be difficult to play against.
  2. You think shes been gold digging since they were both 10 years old? You have a lot of terrible, terrible takes and this is definitely one of them.
  3. Someone is laboring to breath during the Anderson interview. They need to see their doctor ASAP.
  4. Jimi Hendrix's classic song Hey Joe was inspired by the divorce of his dear friend John Lennon. John's eldest son Julian was struggling to cope with the high profile divorce of his parents and Yoko's general bull#### and Hendrix penned an imaginative song about "shooting that old lady down" to cheer him up. While everyone knows the chorus, few know the origin.
  5. Blow it up!
  6. You all make me sick! The Buffalo Sabres miss the playoffs again but most of you want to console the players well it aint my job to there mommy or daddy! Buffalo Sabres fans in 1972 didn't accept anything other than championships and that was the key to their success though they never did win anything. 12 years no playoffs, Terry Peligula deserves to be in a jail cell next to John Rigas who is the biggest crook since that green fella who stole christmas some years back. This city has been all down hill since the man shot president McKinley but at least he showed a little gumption. The kids today are just happy to get their participation trophies for skateboarding on the sidewalk almost knocked me down and broke my neck last night, godammit! Anyhow I'm all out of butterscotch and its 5 months until camp starts. Praying for a sinkhole to come and swallow us up. Lets go Sabres! Lets Go Buffalo!
  7. She really said "Please stop. It's unhealthy for me to be this erect so early in the day"? Weird.... So how was the rest of your time in Bangkok? Do anything wholesome?
  8. It took 3 pages but someone who has watched White play post super bowl has chimed in. Everything I have heard about White since the super bowl has been bad.
  9. I generally agree with that statement. I have recently changed my tune on Mitts after seeing a stat that showed the last time the Sabres had this many guys over 50 points. It was 2007 or 2006. Heres a look at his draft class. In terms of total point production, he doesn't look too bad. https://www.eliteprospects.com/draft/nhl-entry-draft/2017
  10. Cozens is another guy who has taken off with a couple more lbs and he still has a lot more room to fill out. Dahlin's game has grown now that hes not getting pushed around out there. The transition for a guy like Power is so much easier. You can see he already has man strength and size when hes in the corners. IT also doesn't hurt that he has incredible skills. Quinn and Peterka would get exposed in the playoffs. They got manhandled in the AHL playoffs last year. Although Quinn is showing a lot more compete and toughness of late. Peterka brings great speed and creativity but he gets beat up. Even if they miraculously get into the post season and get completely smoked it will still be valuable for them to see how far away they are.
  11. And soup isn't as hot as it used to be!!!
  12. The Road isn't supposed to be a horror movie but that one bothered me to the point where I won't watch it again.
  13. If this means no more new threads from you know who then I can get behind it.
  14. No one cares about gang bangers killing each other. The only time I see gun violence in Chicago being cited is in an effort to argue gun control doesn't work. Which organizations are using gang murder stats in gun banning advocacy?
  15. You haven't seen the incessant calls to arm teachers as a solution to school shootings?
  16. Because they didnt involve someone executing people in the workplace. Do you really believe gang bangers removing themselves from the gene pool warrants the same attention?
  17. In this market? No, still looking. I will wait until interest rates go down.
  18. I had voted republican my entire life. After watching friends and family lose their minds and become consumed with anger the past 6 years, I dont think I want to participate in democracy anymore.
  19. Best performance of the season?? Best I can remember. They played really well defensively against a great team, controlled play, battled back, and they looked solid with the lead in the 3rd for once. What a win.
  20. What do you think they're talking about at this point? Homemade peyote recipes?
  21. With all the excitement this year around career highs and the development of Power, now Levi, the guy who hasn't gotten a ton of attention is Dylan Cozens. His growth has been remarkable. He put up over 30 goals this year despite constant line juggling, mainly playing with 2 rookies who were overmatched for much of the season, and he wasn't a PP fixture until the second half of the year. He has yet to fill out his frame. I am not guaranteeing he his going to be a perennial 30 goal scorer but I don't think he has reached his ceiling yet.
  22. Sens and Wings were busy in free agency last summer and were supposed to be in the playoff mix. Florida has been dealing like crazy to be a borderline wild card. Gotta feel good about being where we are today mostly through drafting and developing. Youngest team in the league despite rostering a goalie who knows how to program a VCR, decent cap room going into next year, and a solid prospect pool. Kulich just set an AHL goal record for 18 year olds, Savoie had another strong season and playoffs, Ostlund is still alive last I checked, Rousek looked more than capable of playing bottom 6 minutes in his opportunity, and Rosen has a funny looking face. With the best goalie prospect we've had since Miller, the future looks bright.
  23. There were 2 goals against where Levi had absolutely no chance. The Lyubushkin turnover and the PP goal where Dahlin failed to get the puck or tie up a man and a Wing had a tap in on the backdoor. The last goal against was a perfect shot but Levi was in position in time to possibly make a highlight reel save. The other three against were tipped, deflected, or bounced in off of a Sabre. I don't think Levi has allowed a softy yet in any of his starts. Razor made an interesting point the other day, possibly after talking with Matty Ellis, that college goalies face a ton of shots but they're often perimeter shots and theres significantly less traffic in front of the net. Bigger bodies in the NHL, intentional screens on the goalie would be an adjustment for Levi was the point. I haven't seen anything which suggests he's playing these weird bounces poorer than any other goalie but it is an interesting point considering all the strange bounce goals we are seeing. Power is so much improved. What a difference a season makes. His confidence and skills were obvious from the start but now he has adapted to NHL game speed. I have not heard the cracked rib rumor about Tage. Thought he had an oblique pull earlier in the season. I know that one timer has been grounded for weeks. He looks hesitant to wind up and let it fly. He was better last night but he was clearly laboring up and down the ice vs FLA. Credit to him for lacing up with the season on the line.
  24. The success of Josh Allen is going to inspire dozens of horrible draft picks and I love it.
