Bills considering trading up to #2 pick
Jauronimo replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You seem young and impressionable, so take a seat and I'll share with you what my dad told me when I was your age: "Your mother and I are getting a divorce!" Time to toughen up and quit yer bitchin'! -
Watkins absent for start of voluntary workouts

That's exactly what Barret Robbins said when he went AWOL. Look how that turned out. -
Watkins absent for start of voluntary workouts
Jauronimo replied to BarleyNY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As long as he shows up to camp in shape and ready to play, this is meaningless. But if he shows out of shape or gets off to a slow start this season, this kind of thing will come back to haunt him. Its not the best look for him. -

Possibly. Which is why they should be tested regularly throughout the season. -
I suggest you spend way more than you ever imagined. Really over extend yourself night one and ball just as hard tomorrow as the day before.

Field conditions for Bills game vs L.A. Rams
Jauronimo replied to White Linen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its absolutely asinine to worry about field conditions in LA because of USC and the Rams sharing a field when California is already in the midst of a severe drought and grass is becoming nearly impossible to grow due to the effects of global warming. Rather than worry about how the conditions on the field are going to be, I'd suggest we focus our attention on who we're going to play that weekend when the ticking time bomb of fault line LA sits on starts acting up and the NFL contracts to 31 teams. -
Losing non-conference games does help your playoff chances because of the head to head. Its especially valuable in tie breaker situations.

Titans Trade #1 Overall Pick to the Rams

That is just incredible. You do NOT give up that many picks and mortgage your teams future unless you are certain the next Sammy Watkins is there at #1. -
Nix vs. Whaley, the final showdown
Jauronimo replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who said no involvement? Cute attempt to shift the goal posts though. I have no intention of pulling a Big Cat and vainly advancing arguments which are unsupportable by what was reported, which is why I'm not going to opine as to what level of influence Gailey had on the Dareus pick or Mario signing. In the absence of compelling evidence either way, I believe its most defendable that Gailey was not that involved. Especially when comparing to the Spiller pick for which we know he advocated. Your original point was that Gailey was involved in the Dareus pick and Mario signing like Rex was in signing Taylor. Compare the garbage you linked to with the below and then tell me again that you think the arguments are of equal merit. I'm sure you will. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25229222/rex-ryan-hand-picked-tyrod-taylor-wanted-him-with-jets -
Nix vs. Whaley, the final showdown
Jauronimo replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ideas which are reasonable or plausible but otherwise unsupportable (i.e., ostensible) when used as the basis of forming a specific opinion is the definition of specious reasoning. Those links demonstrate nothing on which to base a credible opinion as to degree of influence Gailey had in drafting Dareus or signing Mario. Yet you believe it true and can't accept that your argument is horribly flawed and its all because of your fragile ego. You built your opinion on specious reasoning and now you're trying to back fill that hollow shell of an argument with any and all links involving "Gailey" + "Dareus" + "Mario" and its obvious. -

By adding value do you mean posting baseless speculations and then clutching at straws trying to defend my tenuous positions? Or are you referring to posting flippant nonsense and then taking all comers rather than retract? Do I add value by turning every thread into me vs the board? I know you have a lot invested in these pages and what's left of your ego is riding on having the last word, but I wouldn't confuse your efforts lately with value add. -

That's what you came up with and you actually posted it? Well I'm convinced. Yours is a special kind of belief perseverance. -
Nix vs. Whaley, the final showdown
Jauronimo replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Excellent cop out. Quick list of reasons to believe Gailey wasn't involved in these decisions: 1. Gailey ran the offense and had virtually no involvement in that teams defense. 2. Gailey was outspoken about drafting a waterbug type RB prior to the Spiller pick; no such talk about a run stuffing DT before the Dareus pick. 3. All evidence of Gailey's involvement in free agency is centered on Brad Smith and Thigpen. You can present no other reason to believe that Gailey influenced the Dareus pick or Mario signing other than its ostensible, yet you choose to believe it anyway. If my memory fails me, then by all means, produce a source. Your own specious reasoning is not a viable substitute despite your protests. -

I see you subscribe to the birddog school of thought whereby the ostensibly plausible becomes highly likely and then is the basis for opinion. Yes, its plausible that Gailey was highly involved in drafting Dareus and signing Mario, but there is no reason to believe that he was involved from everything I've read. Its equally plausible that Chan, the offensive megamind, wanted AJ Green in the three spot and I have just as much evidence to support that opinion. None. Since you claim Gailey advocated for the two players, an idea that I haven't seen on this board, its not unreasonable that you back it up with something more than "well, its possible". -

@DonteHitner 5m In light of not being good enough for either the Bills or the Browns I have decided that the its time to retire from professional football and pursue my other true passion, boxing Pat Moran. First 5 RTs get tickets to my first fight!!! #renege -
There are a lot of people who don't care much about golf but are pretty big Tiger fans. Tiger pulls butts and puts casual ass in the seats or something. I'm not good with expressions.
