  1. "You have to keep building the roster" is a true statement. But the talent that walked this off-season far exceeds what was added to the roster even when you account for this draft class. Good teams keep their good players and then build on that. Bad teams draft to replace their good players that walk because the franchise blows. We are looking at 4-12. The players know management already surrendered 2017. Maybe Kelly? Kelly is a loser off the field and has a history of injuries when he's on the field. He'd be a waste of a pick.
  2. He would not have been overpaid if we tendered him at a #2. Or at least we would have had a pick we could get a playe rof value. Who's the least 6th round pick we had that played let alone played a full season.
  3. It's really a 6th round pick. 5 rounds at 32 teams = 160 picks, we got #163. Great job Doug. We now have another big hole and need a quality RB. We took the one group on this team that was a position of strength and shat on it. Whaley is so over his head. There are more holes on this team than I care to think about. The legion of slugs we signed in the off-season is obscene. Starting WR Slot WR Back-up WR Back-up TE Starting RT Back-up OT Back up DE Back up DT Starting OLB Back-up LB Starting Safety Back up Safety Starting CB Starting Nickel CB Back-up CB And of course a franchise QB
  4. the problems with this is we do not have enough draft picks to replace the quality players we let walk and most of our picks will suck as they usually do. You can never get better when you continually draft to replace good players that walk off your team. How can this team be anywhere near cap limit? one great well paid RB on offense; one good put overpaid T; 1 old G (not overpaid); 1 overpaid broke down center, 2 G/T on rookie deals; one overpaid/underutilized/misused/underperforming TE; 1 WR made of glass on rookie contract; 20 feeble WRs/TEs on minimum or rookie deals; and 12 FBs on offense. Defense one great overpaid DT (who is 1 mis-step from 16 game ban), 1 old DT, 1 DE on rookie deal and 1 old DE, 1 rookie LB and 1 LB on rookie deal, nobody in the backfield. Where is the monetary value on this piece of sh!t roster? How can a roster with so little talent and this poorly constructed cost so much? That is why Whaley should be gone.
  5. This nonsense that a Pats 5th round pick is better than Gillislee is nonsense. First, the pick equates to a sixth round pick once you account the compensatory picks awarded for free agency. Who was the last player the Bills ever got in the sixth round that was any good? Answer: None. Has Whaley ever drafted anyone of relevance in the 6th round? Listenbee who can't find the field with both feet. And we think that will change now? We let one of the best back-up RBs in the league walk to the Pats and get nothing in return. Absolutely nothing. The RBs we picked up in Free Agency are slugs. The other logic is that it was the line not the back that accounted for the 5.7 YPC and 11 TDs. Really, John Williams was a slug in the same offense. Why wasn't Gillislee tendered a 2nd round pick? Doug should be fired for this alone. Also why doesn't Gillislee shorten his last name to Gill or Lee or Gillis at the least.
  6. Nice uni's gonna try and pick one up. Made in CHina?
  7. Chad Kelly would be a pick that Rex would make. Just like signing his fat brother, lil Gronk and drafting Shaq from his son's team. Say no to Chad and let him take his nonsense to some other sh1t show.
  8. I believe that if Allen falls to 10 many teams would trade up. But Shaq Lawson, M Dareus, Kyle W, Jonathon Allen, LorAx Rags and Preston would be formidable. Get a safety & DB in Rd 2 & 3, then pray that Sammy isn't crippled for life and we resign Gillislee.
  9. You should be disappointed, but why would you be surprised? Whaley is the absolute worst GM in the business. Bar none.
  10. Hopefully he's been putting every type of steroid into his system like his uncle did to improve.
  11. Why would anyone say that Sammy can't stay on the field?
  12. Gilmore was an inevitable loss, but not irreplaceable. IMO, Darby is every bit the CB, and Seymour may very well step up, too. He certainly showed promise last season. No, they are not near as good as Gilmore. Not even close. But, Woods, and Brown? Absolutely replaceable. Yes, they are replaceable but we did not replace them with better players. When you win 6, 7 , 8 games a year you must retain your good players and use the draft to improve your team not to try to get it back to the level it was the year before. Hence 6, 7, 8 wins every year. I'm definitely a "glass half full" guy. But, it's usually half full of sh*t. This team is more than half full of marginal players and a new head coach ain't going to make much difference. We have one legitimate stars in Dareus that has to be paid (Sammy still on rookie contract) and we have little salary cap room. Hard to believe.
  13. Doug will trade our first this year and next to Denver for Trevor Siemian.
  14. What's the bar set at for a break out for him? 4 sacks, 12 games played? He can't suck more than he did last year.
  15. I am a vet FA RT. Been doing it my whole life. Few as good as me.
  16. These stories make me puke. Listenup never made it on the field last year and he is the savior? Logan has never played the position and he is the next great TE because he is big and fast? Get real.
  17. Very underwhelming, this guy would not have made last years Bills squad prior to the injuries decimating the WR corp.
  18. If we could find a 6'-6" WR that ran a 4.5, weighed 220 and could block and catch, everyone would think we got the next Antoine Boldin or Andre Johnson. That he weighs 255 and his position initials are TE and not WR people think we should pass on him? Absurd. He's as close to Gronk as anyone in the draft. Adding his size and ability to the offense immediately make Tyrod, the run game, 3rd and long and the red zone passing games better.
  19. Just another reason why we are losing this off season big time. Why did they bring back Taylor and offer a glimmer of hope that they want to win in 2017 when obviously their actions prove that they are dead set on getting a top five pick next year.
  20. has freed up $100,000,000 of cap space. But there are only three players left on the team.
