I also read that the Bills went to last years blocking schemes two weeks ago. Translated to 343 yards rushing in two weeks. At least Dennison wasn't stupid enough to keep his preferred schemes in place. Why he didn't do this in week one is a bit of a mystery. Wonder if Shady told him to make the change.

Release Dareus and all other quality players we draft or develop. Watkins, Woods, Darby, Goodwin, Gillislee, Hogan, J WIll, the list is endless. Never, ever keep a player when you can release him and spend a draft pick on another body that may never develop. Fill your holes with journeymen that cost nothing. Forever out of the playoffs.

We should have kept Sammy and gave the Rams a #5 for EJ Gaines. Then make the Matthews trade. Matthews is much better with a #1 & #2 on the team, he is a good #3 slot guy. Anquan would have stayed as the number 2. Bring Zay along without the pressure of having to be a number 1 or 2 on day one. Keeping Gillislee was a no brain-er. Should also bring back J Will.

Right. Last year's O and this years D = playoffs. This year's O has a long way to go.

Another way to look at this. Goff is no better or worse than TT. Watkins and Woods make the opposing D respect the pass which enables the running game. Without Watkins and Woods, Gurley sucked. With Watkins and Woods making the D respect the pass, Gurley looks like a superstar. With Watkins and Woods Shady and the Bills running game was phenomenal. Without Watkins and Woods our running game is pathetic. If we spent a #1 and # 2 on two WRs to replace Sammy & Woods we will not get two players as good as Sammy and Woods and it will be a few years before they even contribute. Meanwhile Sammy & Woods are in their prime. We keep developing players, let them go, and spend draft picks to replace the same positions over and over and over again which is why we will always suck. Process be damned. Beane can go back to Carolina and take Sean with him.

4-12 is what Beane wants and it is what we will get. crap management, crap roster and crap players. But trust the process.

I don't think we were all that impressive against the Jets. Carolina isn't a great team but we are only slightly better than the Jets and probably Indy, We are not as good as Cleveland or Houston or SF and they all suck. Unless McDermott held everything back figuring that a college level game plan could beat the Jets, the Bills are in trouble.

I did not see another posting but I am sure a thread is somewhere. Zeke is tough enough to repeatedly beat his woman. But not man enough to take the punishment. A patsy Texas judge in Jerry's pocket covers for another jock. It is only a matter of time till he beats another and Jerry will do all he can to cover it up. Toss Zeke out of the league now.

I thought Hogan looked pedestrian. Without Amendola he will only draw more coverage. The Pats actually have too many good backs and will be hard for one to get into a flow. Their QB looked a little old and slow too.
