The Bills are missing more pieces than Big Bad Leroy Brown.

So it is great to break a QB ranking solely based on stats of passes thrown, completed, dropped, intercepted, dropped interceptions etc. It provides a glimpse into his ability. But I think what most of us think of Tyrod's play is not the passes thrown but of open receiver's not thrown to so he ran, covered receivers not thrown to who may have made a play, open receivers not thrown to but he checked down to a back. That is where the criticism is. Most of us could have lived with a few more INT's if offset by more TD's and first downs. A feared passing attack would have made our running game stronger.

So NE front loads a contract again and we walk again. We get a #32 pick and the Pats get our best player. Our only hope is that they the guy we pick at 32 doesn't completely suck. Good plan. Working so far. How does that special team pick in the 5th compare with Gillislee?

The Bills are re-building? Really? What are they rebuilding? Mediocrity? You rebuild after you have succeeded. This team aspires to achieve average.

50/50 chance that Sammy doesn't make it through training camp, and with no 5th year option, he's effectively gone.

Maybe we should have sign Mike G and wouldn't have this foolish thread going around. Also note that the Bills only pick up vets at the minimum vet contract rate.

Reasons we won't make the playoffs: #1, 2 ,3 & 4 -- Bad cap management that led to losing Gillislee, Woods, Z Brown & Gilmore are four reasons we don't make the playoffs. #5 -- We do not have a starting OLB to play with Rags and P Brown. #6 -- Cornerbacks are; Darby who is coming off a bad year; one possibly good rookie; and a marginal 2nd year 6th round pick. #7 -- No LB depth or DB depth. #8 -- A kicker that cannot make extra points. #9 -- A QB that can't / won't throw over the middle or look at #3 or #4 target. It's a run if target 1 & 2 are not open. #10 -- Ineffective back-up at RB coupled with a 30 year old starter who is getting more and more banged up every year. #11 -- Only one good tight end. #12 -- One oft injured #1 WR who may not be back to start the season, a number 2 that has never caught a pass in the NFL and a group of unimpressive throw-aways filling out the rest of the group. #13 -- A good run blocking line but a poor pass blocking line -- all learning a new offense. #14 -- Lack of leadership. #15 -- Both Dolphins and Jets had a better draft than we did.

Will Nathan Peterman = Frank Reich and Cardale Jones = Jim Kelly? Is that the thinking? TT just a one to two year stop gap? At the end of preseason, if Peterman shows promise & Cardale comes along ``we have to cut someone as few keep three let alone 4 QBs who gets cut first? Yates? Tyrod? Could be ugly.

TT is the starter unless he breaks an ankle. Then there is competition.

Whaley should be let go. He put together losing team after losing team. Cap management is horrible. We used a first and second round pick to replace an all pro CB and very capable #2 WR; both should have been retained. Now we have two rookies that may become as good as the players they replaced -- in three years time. With 'may' being the operative word as either or both could be mediocre or suck out right. Not likely tho, is it? Like we have never had a #1 or 2 pick that didn't work out.... Draft, train, let them walk, re-draft, train, let them walk, is not building a team in anyway. It's treading water and why we have not been in the playoffs since I last bought a pair of underwear. Personally I thought this draft was a waste except the extra pick next year.

Granted this has to be a better defensive coaching staff than Rex. The offense regresses with new offense. The defense regresses with new defenses and the fact that they are still looking for two or three starters. In all we will have 4 or 5 rookie starters. George Allen theory you add one loss for each rookie starter. Team is an 8-8 team if no rookie starters. 4-12 factoring rookie starters and tough schedule.

So if we had managed our cap and retained Gilmore we could have had CB covered and OJ Howard. What a pathetic team.

This team is an absolute joke.

Whaley will negotiate a trade down to 13 but McDermott nixes it. Doug & Sean start wrestling. We get our pick to the podium after three teams pile on and get their picks in before we get ours in. We pick 13th and get nothing in return.

about 10 out of 55 years Ralph was a good owner. about 10 out of 55 years he was average. The rest of the time he sucked.

maybe the need to draw on some of these free agents is also indicative on how many holes on always on this roster through bad drafts and bad cap management.

We had the best back-up RB in the league. Now the Patriots have the best back-up RB in the league. Enough of the JW bull crap. If he was any good we would have known last year.
