We are an offense that doesn’t use TEs. When Knox got his new contract I said it would be a bargain if his usage increased a lot but it didn’t. Same applies here. Could be a great pick if Dorsey has a plan on how he wants to use him and get him the ball. If we just go through the motions with him like we do a lot of other players then it becomes a head scratcher. I imagine Dorsey asked for this so hopefully he can get creative with 2 TE sets.

We literally just gave Knox a big pay raise and still don’t use him nearly enough. Drafting a TE in the 1st would be atrocious. We clearly don’t like using them.

Just stop trying to truck LBs and hurdle defenders once you’ve already gotten the yardage needed. Self preservation should be something he practices.

Fix the OL and add more receiving weapons. This idea that we need a star RB, as if you can just go to the store and get one, in order to win a SB is stupid. I don’t care that it’s Jim Kelly saying it, it’s dumb. How can anyone watch our recent playoff failures and conclude that not having a star RB was our downfall

Im not saying you stop and I wouldn’t be surprised if we go DL early. The reality is that we’ve invested tens of millions in free agency, drafted guys in the 1st and 2nd rounds and outside of Von there isn’t a single impact player on the DL. That’s really the biggest issue.

The plan is to keep dumping resources into the DL only for it to still be a big need.

Seems like the opposite is true regarding who has the leverage. Jets appear to have put their eggs in the Rodgers basket and will probably have to cave at some point. If I’m GB then I’m in no hurry to trade him. I’d sooner pay him to not play than give him away for peanuts.

Very possible he’s just not a good player and ends up fading away. If we’re already trying to replace him then it sounds like it shouldn’t create more of a problem than it already has.
