Why would you think that? Bates has spent time with the 1st team at RG and 2nd team at C. Seems pretty logical that Bates would slide over if Morse were to get injured. That versatility is why he’s still here.
I just can’t get myself to ever fear a Nate Hackett offense regardless of who his QB is.
I can certainly see them start off really slow and not gain any momentum until it’s already too late.
In a perfect world, Kinkaid is the weapon we all hope and essentially becomes our #2 receiver. Takes the pressure off of needing a rookie WR to have an immediate impact.
Signed a new LG, drafted a RG in the 2nd round who was widely projected to go in the 1st, signed some veteran depth guys as insurance. I don’t see that as Beane trotting out the same unit from last year and simply hoping for the best.
