Offensive minded HCs fail all the time. And Payton isn’t exactly thriving in Denver at the moment, nor do I assume this team would be better off with him rather than McD. -

Fair. Payton certainly gets credit for Brees being what he was. Let's just say elite Brees showed up around 2008, right? Since 2008, they had the 1 SB victory. Made it to the NFC Championship game 1 other time and missed the playoffs 4 times, 3 of which were in consecutive years with a Brees.

Don't know..Harty was advertised as a really fast weapon and thus far he does not look like he plays fast. Dorsey seems to like calling WR screens for him so maybe it's a matter of time before one goes for a big play.

Payton was with NO for 15 years and had one of the most prolific and accomplished QBs in league history. He only made it to the NFC Championship game 3 times. You could argue he underperformed as a HC.
