    Ike is probably on a similar level to the guys you mentioned. If anything, Van Rotten and Quessenberry are crap sandwiches and Ike is a crap sandwich with mayo. We desperately need to address the OL this off-season and it can’t be with guys like Ike.

    I think they might already have that player in Bates. Ideally, he’s our swing guard and backup center until it’s time to take over for Morse.

    That’s our identity. That’s who we’ve been since McD and Frazier walked into the building and to their credit it’s worked every year. I don’t think an extra LB solves our tackling problem last night.

    Just to clarify, Morse is under contract through 2024. But I agree there’s always the risk of his next concussion being a career ended.

    Lots of people in the GDT were calling for Frazier to be fired. I think if that were to happen then Eric Washington is the likely replacement and that would be a downgrade. Tackling is a problem but I’m not convinced a change at DC fixes that.

    I think his called run plays can be too predictable and it seems like wasted plays after the defense just pins their ears back because they know what’s coming. It also seems like there are too many long developing routes and we try and push it downfield too often. The play calling in the 3rd quarter tonight was certainly frustrating.
