Could Beane use his sorcery to get Dalvin Cook?
Bangarang replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall
How did things work out when we had Shady and one of the best running games in the league? How have things worked out for the Titans? -

No it’s not and no it won’t. This team is going to live and die by Josh Allen, as it should. -
Nice

Could Beane use his sorcery to get Dalvin Cook?

We aren't a team that is going to have a workhorse RB carry the ball 20 times a game. If James Cook can't handle 12-15 carries then Beane should never be allowed to draft or trade for a RB ever again. Go sign a power back in FA or draft one in the late rounds if you want but I'm sick of watching this front office use day 2 picks on RBs and still feel like the position is a need. -

Can you explain how taking playing time from his brother helps him take the next step? Not to mention we already use too many draft picks on RBs as it is and he's scheduled to make $11mil this year. Literally so many reasons why this is a bad idea. -

So Rodgers is unhappy with the weapons he has in GB but wants to still bring them all to the Jets?

What’s your offer for WR Jerry Jeudy?
Bangarang replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why would you think it’s a good idea to get rid of all the depth we have at the position? Gabe may not be a great #2 but he certainly provides cheap (for now) value as a 3 or 4. -
Certainly couldn’t be worse than Saffold.

Bills reportedly interested in Jamaal Williams

No kidding. -
So we waste a draft pick trading for Hines, just to sign a FA RB AND draft one in the 1st round. Beane would deserve all the criticism at that point.

I didn’t watch the Vikings a lot but statistically Harry seemed to perform similar to his time here.

Not old enough and hasn’t played for the Panthers. Pass

You think that was me whining? That’s the reality of our situation. Beane has invested several day 1 and 2 draft picks on DL prospects. He’s also spent tens of millions of dollars on the DL over years. As constructed, the ONLY player we have that can consistently get to the QB is Von and the only reason why Von is here is because we have whiffed on everyone else we’ve drafted and signed. I don’t have a problem with investing in the DL, the issue I have is the way in which we do it. Drafting a guy like Basham, who was unimpressive in college and didn’t really display any quality NFL traits, right after you draft a DE in the first is seriously questionable. It’s ignorant to argue that money is the only resource in the NFL. You don’t consider two 3rd round picks, a 2nd round pick, and now a 5th round pick to be resources? Or are you just pretending like draft picks don’t count because it goes against your narrative? If after 5 years you don’t have a RB that can reliably carry the ball 12-15 times a game after spending all those draft picks then that’s an objective failure. To draft a RB in the 1st would be questionable at best and moronic at worst.
-
It’s not about ignoring RB, it’s about prioritizing our biggest needs. If you feel the need to draft a RB in the 1st round a year after drafting a RB in the 2nd then it’s just bad asset management. Especially when it’s been shown time and time again that you can get quality production out of the RB position without constantly using day 2 picks on them. RB is turning into DL where Beane just throws a ton of resources into the position and still has little to show for it.

What’s insane is continuously investing into the RB position while trotting out a mediocre OL. Spending two 3rd rounders, a 2nd and possibly now a 1st on RBs when this team has Josh Allen is dumb. Fixing the OL and get help at WR should be the priority. Dorsey has shown he struggled to find a role for Cook and Hines and now we want to add another guy to the room to be mishandled?

Can't wait for the dick pic to a reporter next.

Don’t be ridiculous. Spending time at the combine and trying to learn about the process from an executive’s POV doesn’t mean he isn’t also focused on getting ready for next season. If that’s the case then you better get worried about Josh playing a lot of golf in the off-season. He’s probably not focused on next season either.

He can easily do both. Which quote tells you he’s going rogue?
