  1. Saw a completely different game. I thought the secondary was stellar. It was 7-6--should have been 7-13--how carved up can you get? Thought the offensive line got manhandled all game. O line is my biggest concern. As for positives--Tank Carder, IMO, will be seeing regular plays soon. Graham is super fast, and appears to have good hands. SJ is dominant. Both of our new corners look like legit starters. Byrd's going to be a star.
  2. It looks like they're wearing rugby shirts underneath.
  3. Not like that in all stadiums. Watching games at the Georgia Dome is like going to an opera. Boring and sterile if you ask me. Be nice to find a middle ground.
  4. It's funny you mentioned the Ralph being smoke free before saying pot was illegal.
  5. On another note...is it just me or does VY look like he's playing sandlot football? Guy seems like he just wants to draw some routes in the turf and run on every other down. Still seems like he's the clear cut No. 2. At least he's a gamer. He'll make a bunch of crap plays then dazzle you with a big one. Thigpen...meh.
  6. Not worried at all about the skill positions on offense--this was just a glorified practice. I might be a little...concerned...about our O line, however. They were dominated. Also have to disagree with some of the posters about our defense. Our first and second team secondary was solid. I didn't see any penetration from the D line though. Kinda expected RG3 to be runnin for his life. I know I know, preseason... Hope next game there will be a simple, diverse gameplan--not 100 percent spread--and some D line dominance.
  7. Johnny White looks solid. Choice, so far, is terrible. VY seems like he's playing sandlot football. Good asset to have, though.
  8. Clowney, Choice, Thigpen out. Like what I'm seeing with TJ Graham.
  9. My thoughts exactly 5 Wide. Says something good then puts a yeah but on every one. Weird writing style. If I hadn't clicked the story from here, the tone would have suggested a No. 4 placement in the AFC East.
  10. To parrot others, no injuries. Also add: D line dominance. Improved mechanics for Fitz. A clear No. 2 QB--Houston's success shows us a capable No. 2 is essential; it's a little scary that VY appears to be so bad in camp. A clear No. 2 WR--I think we have a fine bunch of No. 3s and 4s, but no one has yet to show he can take pressure off of SJ. Cordy Glenn showing what he can do. The emergence of one later round pick--maybe Nigel Bradham or Tank Carder.
  11. Great to see the Times predicting us as No. 2, but I thought the reporter was harsh on Fitz. The only downside I see of him is his downfield inaccuracy, which could be improved with David Lee coaching him. As for the "gunslinger" thing, Fitz had a low INT rate before the slide, then was constantly playing from behind. I think INTs will be low. We'll see this season whether the reporter was right. Obviously, I hope he isn't.
  12. Pats*: Linemen dropping like flies, weak run and mediocre pass-rush. Jets: Weak passing game, utter team turmoil. Wouldn't it be funny if the Bills and Dolphins were No. 1 and 2 in December?
  13. Especially if she and Brady* were menstruating together. They'd be in-tune. +1
  14. I can think of no other reason than this cruel fact right here.
  15. Great. What do we do when she menstruates?
  16. Give me a break. It is a football question. If you don't like the mere mention of anything political, don't click the thread.
  17. We have the personnel for our current offensive system. We don't have ground and pound RBs. We have multi-tasking finesse runners, and that is fine by me. Plus, it's far more exciting to see quick release West Coast style offenses showing action every down as opposed to power rushing teams grinding out a couple yards here and there. No thanks. Our offense is right where it needs to be. Fitz has one more year to show what he can do. But for now, we are a spread West Coast team.
  18. Sensitive "soles". What a heel.
  19. To preempt a quote from The Senator: "Whoever the best player available is at the 32nd pick." But... Let's play a few games and see how the guys we just drafted do first?
  20. We're No. 1. We're No. 1. At being the worst at making the playoffs!
  21. Eagles, Ravens, Giants. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d827cddaf/article/do-the-bills-have-the-best-defensive-line-in-football
  22. No. 1 offseason (says pretty much everybody). No. 2 RB duo (says me) No. 3 camp facility (says King) No. 4 D-line (says NFL.com). No. 32 playoff drought. Let's hope the previous four made-up rankings have a big impact on the real one.
  23. 1. His nonstop effort. Running routes, every play, is tiring. Most receivers run them half-ass if they know they aren't getting the ball. Look at him, especially against Revis. He runs every route like he's the No. 1 target. I saw him give Revis a (successful) quadruple move at the line once. What he lacks in speed, he more than has in effort and cardio endurance. 2. His ability to get open. I'll defer to Fitz on that one. He's been quoted many times as saying the guy just finds ways to get open. As for the big moment, though, despite having a top-10 catch-per-pass ratio... ...he's 0-2.
  24. Without the injuries last season, we were an 8-8 quality team. With a revamped D, an addition to the O line, and more depth, I fully expect 11 or 12 this season.
