  1. How dumb is the Texans D coordinator. Middle wide open and no spy on Wilson!
  2. Why are the Broncos darlings in the Officials eyes? Huge holding on the 4th down run.
  3. wow what a soft PI in the Broncos game.
  4. Thats twice the refs screwed Houston.
  5. OMG the officials in the Texans game blows a whistle on a clear fumble return for a TD. More NFL quality!
  6. Even with a banged up O line all he needs is a couple of seconds and Hill is always open deep.
  7. Well my faith in the Comanders being able to make an upset lasted for a whole 17mins.
  8. The NFL has to bring in a coaches challenge on Penalties and Non calls. The incredible interference (actually flattening of the receiver) in the Saints/Rams playoff game should have taught them. Looking at the play 4 years later I still find it baffling that there was no flag from supposedly an elite Officiating crew. But for the NFL bringing in a simple rule change like that is like trying to steer the Titanic away from the iceberg, ie not happening soon or ever.
  9. Geno Smith looked surprisingly good last night. It was a great game to watch. Seattle lost that game in heartbreaking Bills fashion.
  10. Im wondering what the Bills are doing at this point. How do you go about an investigation for cases like this? Thats got to be a serious headache for them to deal with beyond the super migraine that this season has become!
  11. If your defense hinges on one guy thats a huge problem and fully indicative of poor coaching. It shouldnt be that complicated to insert another backup player into that role to at least be competent.
  12. How many times in the last 3 years have you seen that exact same play done over and over again. With McD and Frazier's defense, I would say at least 40 times. If they couldn't stop it with all of their top defensive starters like Milano, White etc on the field then what possible chance do they have with backups?? How in the hell does McD not get that? No pass rush and soft zone gets you burned every time. Blitzing against certain QBs (in 2 min offense) who can get the ball out quick also gets you burned. McD does nothing to confuse the QBs and doesnt play man coverage or order his defense to jam these receivers at the line. In 13 seconds had they held Kelsey or Hill and got a flag they would have only gained 5 yards and an automatic first down but bled the clock so that a FG wasnt possible. But of course none of these things was even planned at all or if so not executed properly!
  13. Willard : They told me that you had gone totally insane, and that your methods were unsound. Kurtz : Are my methods unsound? Willard : I don't see any method at all, sir.
  14. I keep wondering if this is possible with Von. Would a guy of his ego really feel that bad about not living up to the terms of his contract and realizing that he was done do the right thing and leave all that money? Its a humungous cap hit!
  15. Team is definitely good enough to do it, even with a banged up defense. What will stop them is their Head coach defensive coordinator who will make a killer mistake/ or go full chicken when a Balls out move is required!
  16. McD's problem is that he doesn't make the right calls under pressure and doesn't seem to understand quick enough that what he is doing isn't likely to work or just flat out wont. But he keeps at it. The soft coverage on a team who is running hurry up never works. It happened again in the Philly game on the last drive and its happened in pretty much 4 of the losses and the 2 almost losses, It happened in the Cinci playoff game and it happened in the 13 seconds game. How does a defensive "guru" not get that in the moment? Does McD not have defensive spotter up in the booth to identify in game plays that are failing repeatedly? Can he not switch to Man in those critical situations? Anything different than the sickening prevent D that leads to a loss would be preferred!
  17. When you are from Officiating aristocracy like Hoculi, you have special privileges! Both Hoculis get to sleep with your bride on the wedding night as is custom after all!
  18. Cam Lewis high points the ball down to Jefferson who makes the circus catch. Lewis should have got an assist! He was like one of those rugby players that get lifted up by a team mate and then hand them the ball! He should have listened to Tom Jackson on NFL Primetime: "Knock it down!!".
  19. Yes this is true ! and so very Billsy!!!
  20. True but in McD's soft as a baby's bum pass defense, the receiver usually doesnt get touched until he hits the ground or goes out of bounds!
  21. Yes oddly so. Even if he nailed Hurts at the goal line and made him pay for it and he still got the TD I would be ok with it but he caresses him!
  22. He's not in the Norwood category yet. Norwood was a great kicker until wide right killed him. I can remember a game in the season after that SB loss vs the Raiders in LA where he missed an extra point and 3 FGs but managed to get the winner. That was not even a year later and he was done! Only kicked 62% of his FG tries and then out of football altogether.
  23. I wish Rasul Douglas reaction on the TD run by Hurts had been slightly faster like maybe an athlete in his 20s in the NFL and not like some mall cop to a SF shop lifter! Watch his pathetic attempt to stop Hurts!
  24. yes, teams make mistakes. Bills made a few yesterday but it was the coach who consistently put them in a worse position with his decisions and lack of courage. A better coach wins them that game with a bold decision or two at the end and that wasnt McD yesterday. He literally needs to get out of his teams way at this point!
  25. You mean the "Bills Coach" we saw yesterday. That "team we saw yesterday is capable of winning all 5 if not hamstrung by weak coaching decisions!
