  1. Shawkir had a chance and he was way too wimpy.
  2. OMG that was PATHETIC. Rousseau staring at the guy with the ball and he does nothing? This D can never get it done when it matters.
  3. Does McD ever learn on these short yardage passes?
  4. Man one pass might undo all the first half positives!
  5. Tackling has been awful so far by Bills D.
  6. Poyer faked out of his shoes.
  7. What a throw by Stafford and what a catch by Nacua! Old school NFL play right there!
  8. He went for the flag football tackle on that last play vs Hurts.
  9. Watching lots of non Bills games over the last week I have to conclude that zone defense especially in the 4th quarter in a close game is one of the stupidest strategies in football. I saw many completions last week (even in the SF game ) that the defenses simply let receivers just run past them and into the next area to be wide open for an easy catch while they were distracted by another receiver. If the QB has time to throw, this approach is insanity. But this is the approach that our defensive guru HC sticks to in most of these situations except maybe on the deep patterns. And on those patterns our DB's are often way off the ball, late to get there and either cannot break up the play or get a DPI penalty because they are not looking at the ball. I'd love to believe that McD learns from his mistakes but this season has repeatedly shown us otherwise. Kelce needs to be jammed at the line and smothered in coverage because Mahomes always has time to throw.
  10. Yes this is possible! But only if McD gets the F out of the way of this team and doesnt undermine things with some wimpiness, bad in game calls or weird analogies to historical events! Thats a bit of a tall order but possible!
  11. Watching how awful Trubisky is, I struggle to believe how he was a first round pick. But just like Carson Wentz another first rounder he seemed like the "prototypical" NFL QB. Oddly enough both these washed up Qbs started and defeated the Bills in the McD era. In Wentz's case twice!
  12. What a brutal INT. Trubisky looks really bad.
  13. Thanks for sharing! Great article and I think very accurate!
  14. I've been wanting the Bills to don retro 90s uniforms with the red helmets for a game but that doesn't seem to be in the cards. Then again I wouldn't want them to do it this week at Arrowhead. Too many traumatic memories of that awful 1991 game on Monday night football when the Chiefs devoured us!
  15. I guess for Beane and McD its an "ethical" dilemma. Either you support the victim of physical abuse or you support your "star" player that you signed for huge$. Actually put that way its not really an ethical dilemma at all. In addition, from purely a selfish Bills perspective, Von doesnt even offer much on the field right now that makes it even worth it to dress him. So if Von and his "innocence" is the hill they want to die on, I guess thats their plan.
  16. I found the 2021 season to be fun but frustrating. 13 seconds ruined it. Last season started great but after the GB game things became increasingly stressful and all the mishaps, the Hamlin near tragedy and the horrible injuries combined with the Bengals complete domination in the playoffs burned me out totally. I told myself that I wouldn't get sucked in again this year and would keep a handle on investing too much in the Bills this season (LOL who was I kidding). This season has been extremely frustrating due to the coaching incompetence in all areas. I tell myself not to get too hyped for the KC game but there's always a part of me that retains that hope that somehow we will get a break on the bad karma and luck of the last 3 years and finally achieve some redemption!
  17. That game was a perfect example of what many people (including me) have said all along about McD. We have the talent on this team to win despite him! The worst part of all these heartbreaking losses of the past 3 years is that even when McD made a really bad in game decision, we still had the chance (in many instances, but not all) for someone to step up and make a play to decide the outcome in our favor. Philly was just the latest example. But in many of these losses the opposite has happened and we have collapsed and given the game away. In the end the players have to step up, bad coaching management or not and win these close games!
  18. Mark Rypien was lightning in a bottle in 1991 and of course played a lights out game in crushing our Bills in that horrendous SB in Minni.
  19. Out of all the embarrassing losses this season, the Pats one was the worst. Totally inexcusable performance by the defense and McD.
  20. Even though it was early in his tenure, the Peterman game was probably the moment that defined or exposed McD as not being HC material. It was McD who made the call to bench his flawed but reasonably competent QB TT for an unproven rookie because he seemed to value his character traits over his ability as an NFL QB. He somehow went with the idea that he should start a guy because he was a man of faith rather than go with the better option. Which unsurprisingly led to one of the worst QB performances in history.
  21. Yes that's true of every other team in every other sport but not the Bills but if the law of averages or karma does come around for us, we should expect an AVALANCHE of freakish good luck, great officiating and acts of God to help us!
  22. I still believe the Bills could have done the same with a better coach. The way they lost that was unforgivable. SF coaches just showed you a master class on preparation, execution and game management. All three things McD and co lacked last week.
  23. I hate the new dumb style of pass defense in the NFL. Look at the damn ball. SF just gave the Eagles the TD there.
  24. Amazing how ordinary Hurts looks playing a good defense that has good schemes. Once again I think a better coach for our D (even with our injuries) would have worked wonders!
