  1. Hoping they solve the goaltender issue with some of that dough.
  2. Never read that article before. What an ass. Hows that sense of urgency now Gilly? Gone are the days of Gilly playing 8 yards off the line of scrimmage on a critical 3rd and 4. Adios amigo!
  3. Interesting work experience Josh. A few of us here are from the Post-Star area. White Plains huh? Not going to hold it against you, but are you a Jets fan or Giants fan? (Being a Patriots fan is not an option here). 😀
  4. I didn't realize I garnered your respect in the first place. But I have an idea to smooth things over: if you would simply acknowledge that Kyle Orton has "a chance" to make it on the Wall given what he was able to accomplish, then we can move forward in a mutually respectful manner.
  5. Ban someone for making a logical argument re. a Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame candidate? You must be fun at parties.
  6. Four games in...EJ is the starter...Raiders need a spark. Sound familiar?
  7. If that was some kinda slam against my Dad being 250 lbs you're dead wrong. He's 205. Do you even understand how many times your back ligaments are used when vacuuming a medium sized ranch house? That's back and forth, back and forth about 390 times in a one hour span. I'd say Derrick Carr should be able to move his arm 390 times in an hour but I think his departure from the game answers that question.
  8. You too huh? Have you ever tried to unload cases of water into the back seat of a Dodge Caravan and still leave room for the beets, butter, soup and apricots? Theres a lot of jockying stuff around, bending torso, arms, etc. not to mention returning the cart to the cart hut and driving home. Id say Derrick Carr could learn a thing or two from my mom and her broken vertebrae.
  9. You calling my mom a liar? She had to lift two cases of water into the cart, three bunches of beets, pound of butter, a rump roast, dried apricots for dad and four cans of Progresso lentil soup. Thats a lot of bending and lifting.
  10. My Mom had a fractured vertebrae. She went to the grocery store every day. Shes 79 yrs old and the doctor said she should just keep moving if she can tolerate it...its the best thing for a person with that kind of injury. I guess its a pain tolerance issue.
  11. Ill advised throw, one INT, no TD's, 57 passer rating. Can't blame receivers for everything. Just my opinion.
  12. No wonder he broke his hand yesterday...guy plays both ways. I say keep him at LB though.
  13. Dude broke his hand and came out second half in a cast....he's a stud. He'll be back in no time.
  14. I imagine if you serviced multiple people at the same time your back would eventually give out.
  15. After reading this I think Carr should be suspended for 5 games. What a tool.
  16. I think we all know why Gugny has a dislike for Carr. It's not the spasms, or the coach or the baby boys. Carr plays ahead of EJ. We all witnessed (if you watched the Raiders game) what EJ Manuel looks like as a starter. He is who we thought he was.
  17. I see you are as well. When someone mocks the subject matter (Orton) or argues against him being on the Wall, should I just keep quiet? This is America last time I checked...I can protest your hating on Orton as much as I want. I just choose to back up my argument with stats.
  18. And I'll keep shouting it from the 300 level..."I take winning seriously". So having a winning season is a serious matter. Did Pat McGroder deliver us a winning season? Did he throw for 3800 pre-extrapolated yards? Did he give our fanbase a glimmer of playoff hopes? I know he was important in the front office and marketing in the 60's but he never sacrificed his back, head, arms, legs or liver for the team. Next thing you'll say is Russ Brandon belongs on the Wall. It's frustrating that some of you can't see the distinction here.
  19. So you aren't giving any reason? Just NO?
