With the sholder problem I would think he couldnt lift weights much so when he got on the field he was not all that strong. This year no reason not to be full strength, so good improvement in production should be seen.

If they put 10-15 pounds of muscle on these guys will the still be under sized?

Actually it would be stupid to pick up the option on a guy who is not yet ready to play... So if he has a great season the tag can be used on him if a long term deal cant be hammered out. Yes, it would be 2 million more, but the 5th year option would be guaranteed for next year even if injured..... So STOP being stupid thinking you are smarter the the guys making the decisions!!!!!!!!!

I think the wild card factor is MD. He missed the first 8 games and we lost 3 close ones without him. I think that a healthily franchise player like him would have made the difference.

Funny that so many think he is as good as Wood. Every team in the NFL could have made him an offer and we saw what the best one was, not starter money. Great depth and maybe a starter at some point but Wood is still the better player.
