  1. At the end of the day the Bills had not one, but TWO chances to win this game on their own terms. That basically means your game plan failed. If anything, I'm coming around to the idea that the Bills need to move on from Daboll. Offense is a bit too finesse. Everything should be tailored to maximizing Allen's abilities, and that's going to allowing him to play off of play action, giving him more 1v1s, and that happens with a running game and 2-3 established receiving threats. Offense should be base 11, 12, and 22, and should be a lot more even between run and pass with personnel geared towards that.
  2. That was a MASSIVE OLine they played, and a very well coached OLine. As OP stated the defense was generally successful. Belichak ***** sucked last night, and all the praise is BS. Pats didn't win, a superior team shot itself to death
  3. A cheater and an #######. Probably refuses to throw it just so he could be praised for winning it while not throwing it
  4. I mean that was a blatant Offside on Judson as well
  5. That freakin attempted murder + child endangerment + domestic abuse
  6. At some point you have to let McKenzie have an opportunity to win that job
  7. If the Bills are healthy on the OLine, I'll be honest I don't see this being super competitive in the 4th quarter. Teams that are going to give the Bills problems are teams who disciplined enough to stick to a conservative defensive game plan, and have a front 7 that can stop the run without blitzing - and can win their matchups on the dline - without blitzing often. I can Reich getting points though. Can see this as a 38 - 24 game or something
  8. Jonathan Taylor is loudly having a better year
  9. If the bills hadn’t turned this into a blowout though the bills would have had a chance to keep them under 250 yards. gotta give up the underneath stuff to trade yards for one now
  10. Jets are playing a bit stupid but the improvement in the Bills run blocking is really welcome - even against a bad run D
  11. Think they had something with Ford. If he was the mauler they thought he’d be, this is a very different conversation
  12. Don’t really care about that drive. Bills get 2 possessions in a row. can the oline block enough for deep crossers? That’s the key
  13. Well. They can’t run block effectively, they don’t have a RB that can make up for a sub par offensive line blocking, and they can’t protect against any kind of blitz that allows for longer developing routes that can beat deeper zones. so this is more Beane than Daboll
  14. Really not too complicated. Defenses has decided that Allen is a legit MVP type QB, and took away the explosive plays. Bills don’t have a counter punch to that
  15. It’s actually been ok. They’re playing coverage for the most part. Don’t have an elite pass rusher just a bunch of good ones - this is what you get
  16. Would like the see some traditional run game play here. Making it too predictable right now
  17. Especially with Tommy Doyle at LT. You knew the Jets would bring an extra or two to make 1v1 match ups. Both backups lost their matchups there. no passing lane for Josh
  18. He was frustrated with the protection- or lack there of
  19. Yes to both. He's wildly underrated because about half his game is creating a no flu zone so the ball doesn't come near him. Edmunds is the future of the linebacker position. Micah Parsons came after him, and actually PSU might even have another in Brandon Smith. Tall, agile, loves to hit, can cover like safeties in their zones, and wildly athletic. Sheer weapon in the middle of the field
  20. You don't want one of the 5 best LBs in the League?
  21. because they don't add anything to the table the Bills already don't have.
  22. Don't think this inhibits the Bills from claiming OBJ, as I'm sure they could convert someone's salary to a bonus to add the $4M neccesary
