  1. i have no wish to cut them. I wish for them to follow safety protocols to protect their own availability and their teammates. I really don’t care what they personally think about the virus or vaccine. I really don’t. But when they start endangering the team’s ability to win football games, well yea I care . I mean I’m a Bills fan
  2. It’s fine for these guys to express their opinions but it’s also fine for me to find those opinions to be absurd. Make it make sense Cole? How about no one knows what you’re doing outside the football facility, and you live in a world where there’s a deadly virus that is now attacking people of all ages, and because no one can trust that you’re not a walking virus vector at any given moment, then you better keep your freakin germs to yourself, because while the virus does an INCREDIBLY good job of protecting people from getting sick, it was NOT designed to be a complete barrier from infection itself, and these people have children they go home to, who don’t have the ability to protect themselves, or immune compromised people living with them or in their circle. You walking 5 steps in the facility without a mask on is you potentially spreading delta variant COVID for 5 steps for someone else to catch. Your vaccinated teammates? They have a 5 time less likely chance of catching the virus compared to you, and have a much reduced viral load. The odds of them being a vector to spread is significantly reduced compared to you. Walking around maskless and unvaccinated is almost criminally negligent at this point. Have some ***** respect for your fellow humans. There’s your sense
  3. he’s been getting hit since he’s been 13. He’ll be fine
  4. They're not punishing unvaccinated. They're protecting them. As employers they are required to have health and safety protocols to protect their employees, as well as the the rest of of their employees - and sometimes that means protecting them from themselves.
  5. Feel bad for him and the organization. We have some evidence from European soccer teams, that a bad case of COVID can impact your abilities for months. Kai Havertz is a world class player, who joined Chelsea, got COVID bad, and was affected for basically the rest of the season. Took him a long time to regain his full athletic abilities - a 22 year old elite athlete. Hope Dion comes back soon to full fitness, but also hope he doesn't push himself beyond what his body can do, and that the organization supports him in that
  6. Nah we just pissed coca-cola when we got home and thought it was fine
  7. Kill them early and grind late. However, this isn't neccesarily a formula that works against better teams, or especially a team that has more firepower than yours.
  8. 25 years is a long time between elite QB....but man it's worth to be living in the era of Josh Allen and the Bills.
  9. He also threw 5100 yards and 33 TDs. Josh Allen threw for 4700 and 37. What that tells me is that Winston can diagnose a defense perfectly well and slice up a defense with the best of them. You don't throw 5100 yards and 33 TDs without being able to do that. The INTs tells me that he also trusted his arm far too much and took risks that he didn't need to. Hence, my thought that he needed a kick in the arse, to accept that he doesn't have to make a big play every time he drops back, and that check downs are fine. Dude is talented. Absolutely no question there. It's always been about him having the discipline to not risks.
  10. Hilarity aside, Jameis has lost a lot of weight and actually looks pretty good, football body wise. Always thought he was one of the 3 or 4 more gifted QBs in the NFL (mental + arm), and just needed a kick in the arse to take the leap to elite. Think he's going to have a pro-bowl/borderline MVP season
  11. Since when the hell are drill sargent/psychopath coaches making a comeback? Did none of these dudes watch Junction Boys. And yes I'm talking to you, Joe Judge & Dam Campbell. Would never want my future kids playing for that kind of coach.
  12. You'll probably be fairly happy around the trade deadline.
  13. listening to Mario above, he was pretty awesome in explaining football specifics about DE technique in an easy to understand, entertaining manner. He's got legit potential in the booth as a color guy. That was legit charisma. I am excited for a 10 package where both McKenzie and Beasley are in the slot. I'd love for that to be a 1st down and short yardage package as well.
  14. Star will hugely help on run downs, in terms of stopping the run. Not sure you can over emphasize this, but him coming back was the biggest Bills acquisition of the off-season
  15. I didn't realize he was still in the league
  16. I would rather have him have that injury now rather than later, he doesn't really need a real training camp anyways
  17. Definitely a fun football debate to be had on this. On the one hand - are you really going to have 3 WRs on the All-Pro team, and have Cole Beasley on one of them instead of Tyreke Hill? The other argument is that there's no one better than Cole at slicing open defenses from the slot, and it's a unique skillset quite different from the Z or X WRs.
  18. The base personnel look for the All Pro team should be a legit 11. They have 2 Zs and an X in 2020.
  19. They;re adults. They can handle this
  20. You also have to consider that Beane knew that cap would expand next few years, and that while running it back isn't optimal, may have been better than reaching for bad contracts under tight circumstances. Running it back means you have a lot more flexibility going forwasrd. The Bills' window is more like 5 years, rather than 2 years, and I'm guessing that's what Beane is planning for.
  21. I think my primary point on this is how much McDermott values that position in his defense. His entire system on having a backer with Endmunds athletic ability, mental ability and skill set. then take that and look at the cost of finding a replacement. That only guy in this past draft that could be a an athletic replacement would have been Micah Parsons. not at all dismissing folks who are critical of Tremaine’s play, but you need to understand how much value McDermott has in him. he’s gonna get paid by the bills because of that
  22. Think Devin White was essential to the Bucs beating the Chief. The pass rush was tremendous, but White was ridiculously good that game
  23. And this is what I mean about my 2nd paragraph. He's been a pro-bowler, he's pretty highly rated by NFL evaluators, his peers seem to respect him, but Bills fans largely seem to think he's not very good.
  24. DEs got swamped in that game as well, which was not helpful.
  25. One thing to consider is that the Mike is the most important position in McDermott's 4-2-5 system. You need a real athlete that covers a huge amount ground, plays the run really well, while requiring a lot of mental ability and memory. The other thing here is we have the odd case of a movie being a lot more liked by the Actors, directors and professional critics than the movie goers. Have a feeling that the coach and front office rate Edmunds as highly, if not more, than Werner. Basically, I'm saying he's gonne get paid, and he's gonna get paid by the Bills.
