The only entity that has to fully care about Innocent until proven is the Justice System and any other public entities. Private organizations are well within their rights to look at the circumstantial evidence they have at hand, and make their own decision on whether or not it’s worth it go forward with that employee- I see almost no upside here for the Bills keeping Araiza. so basically what Matt’s angle here is that he had sex with her consensually but had nothing to do with what happened in the bed room.

My one defense of the Bills is that the cops aren’t going to tell anyone that they’re investigating someone for a crime involving an underage individual, which means they likely knew nothing of this until the civil charges were filed. What “thorough examination of the matter” means is anyones guess. Does it mean they thoroughly read the civil suit?

I mean there’s enough detail/circumstantial evidence here - especially with Araiza admitting to a sexual encounter with here - that you need to suspend him until the criminal portion of this plays out. The accusations are heinous

No the story details her going the cops the next day. They stalled the case and I think there’s still a criminal investigation going on / but my guess if they got frustrated and went to civil courts as they dawdled

He already admitted to having sex with her. Unless the physical injury details reported are just wrong, then there’s some minimal predatory stuff going on here. The details of the mere medical exam are horrific

Yea, that's a good question. But this match is on Black Friday at 2pm - with almost no competition other than people still out shopping (which most do online now), and some travel after thanksgiving. It's almost perfectly set up to maximize ratings

One thing I'm annoyed by Bills Twitter are the people who constantly bring up CEH and the Chiefs. Those are very different. Why? CEH didn't actually add anything new to the offense. Breece Hall brings two aspects the Bills generally don't have. Home run speed, a receiving threat in the backfield and screen game. When you draft in the first round, you draft for something you're team doesn't have, and if it's so well rounded, then something that's going to come off the roster in the next year or two

The Women's world cup final drew 26M viewers. That generally exceeds any NFL regular season game (outside of Thanksgiving) and would be low end for a playoff game (the equivalent of the Bills/Pats wild card game this year). My expectation for England - USA is about 35M+, which would put it inline with a Divisional Round game. I'm a huge soccer fan, but I'm not one of those fans who's going to tell you that it's going to take over America. But USA - England will be special and well watched
