  1. I agree we need a good draft, but I also think getting rid of Diggs will be an addition by subtraction. We’ll surprise people this year.
  2. Pro sports at least have contracts. But college sports had a different charm. Kids growing over 4 years and seeing them go from freshman to big time junior and seniors. Now I don’t even know what to watch for. They’re about to ban court storming even.
  3. With players transferring every year and teams being unrecognizable every season, I no longer follow college basketball like I used to. But March Madness was once must watch TV in my life.
  4. Haha. Thanks for calling this out.
  5. I actually agree. He strikes me as a mid-level WR1 who wants to be paid like a top level WR1. More of a McLaurin or Ridley level receiver. Better than anything we have now, but still.
  6. He’s not that bad now. Watching him with the Ravens he would be a rich man’s Emmanuel Sanders circa 2021.
  7. He’s incredible but he’s 31. We need to think long term. 3-5 years at least. If we use up our picks and take on a huge contract it should be for someone younger like Jefferson or Aiyuk.
  8. Milano is 30 this year and recovering from a bad injury. LBs tend to start to decline, albeit slower than other positions, in years 8-10. I think Kincaid becomes a Hockenson level player, and not a Kelce level player. That’s great but not HOF impact like what you are suggesting. Simply put, unless Bernard takes another leap, the Bills need a Justin Jefferson or Marvin Harrison Jr to get that type of player in 2024/2025.
  9. Which aligns with around the time Diggs lost all patience. He knew his clock was ticking on winning a SB and he put himself before the team.
  10. Not totally true. Davis and Shakir are very good draft picks considering their round. Diggs was a home run trade. It’s really just a swing and a miss in Zay Jones, who has oddly carved out a nice career elsewhere and was before Beane. McCloud and Hodgins were late rounders with careers elsewhere. FA picks have been hit (Beasley, Brown, Sanders) or miss (Harry, Sherfield). So really, we haven’t seen Beane take a big swing yet except Diggs. Last time Beane had a desperate need he took Allen, so we should trust him here.
  11. He needs a SB as an important contributor. Otherwise, how is he better than Hines Ward or DeAndre Hopkins? Larry Fitzgerald? Maybe Andre Johnson level.
  12. He did want to win, but his clock was ticking. 2022 was an impossibly stressful year. We ran out of steam against the Bengals. Allen had the luxury of taking his time and recovering because he has 10 years of elite play left. Diggs didn’t. All understandable. The problem was that Diggs refused to go with the flow. He started creating enemies, becoming a distraction. It ended up hurting the team that needed him to be elite down the stretch. His ego didn’t want to admit he was now suddenly part of the problem. His MIND went from friend to foe. Then he doubled down this offseason. Away he went to Houston.
  13. Watching the video now from a different perspective, you can see Allen go from relaxed to a tense position with his arm when Diggs walks over.
  14. There’s a strange, hateful contingent of the fanbase that is always looking for a way to go after Beane. It’s almost like they resent him for his success and try to pick at anything they can.
  15. This might not be a popular opinion but I think Kincaid more likely becomes a Hockenson level player rather than a Kelce level player. That's nothing to squeeze at, but it won't win you a SB on its own. If we trade the farm to move up, it needs to be for Marvin Harrison Jr, and not for Nabers. Nabers is already California Dreaming, and we don't want to give up everything for a glum Gilmore face when he gets called up to the podium. We don't want the hot girl that's trying to pawn her less attractive friend on to us. Justin Jefferson will be an extremely expensive red flag, Aiyuk will be a mid-tier WR1, and Tee Higgins is an elite WR2, not a WR1. If we trade for a $100M guy it should be DK Metcalf or CeeDee Lamb. If they're not available, trade up in the draft for MH Jr. We can go for Mitchell or Legette or McConkey, but those are good starters, not superstars. And Allen needs a superstar. For me, its Harrison or nothing this year. Then grab a Legette or a Worthy later in the draft to add speed.
  16. It’s $100 in 1 year, not 10. And the drop from 1st round to 2nd round is a lot more than 5th round to 6th round for example. I’m just saying if I was GM, I wouldn’t like that value reasoning.
  17. Doesn’t make sense. Bills pick 28th this year. Worst they can do next year is 32nd. Teams know it’s going to be worth at least 600 points. I don’t know, if I was selling, I wouldn’t like these prices.
  18. Stop questioning Beane so much. Just enjoy the ride.

The first window was an amazing run considering we just came off the drought. The second window will be when we start winning SBs. Be careful what you wish for opposing fans and trolls.
  20. I think we surprise this year. But I think next year is when the SB window really opens.
  21. Great points. Option 3 is a Diggs type player out there on a reasonable contract that is looking for a change of scenery. If he’s out there, Beane and staff will find him.
  22. Is it realistic to make a trade for Jefferson or Higgins this year and push most of the cap hit on a new contract to next year?
